7.This has been said by a few people, I'm just reinforcing their strength points :D

You should be able to choose who gets a province you capture.

8.There should be a means of measuring the distance between 2 provinces without having to send an airplane to 1 of them in order to find out. This would be very helpful for deciding where it's worthwhile to send your Air Fleets.

9.The weather model could definitely still stand improvement. In my latest game (1.06 patched with CORE .81) Ive seen long term thunderstorms over Palestine. I've also had to deal with long term rain up and down eastern Africa. I'm not sure when the African rainy season is or whether the weather engine incorporates it.

10.If HoI 2 provinces still have an infrastructure rating, I'd love to see an infrastructure view mode. This way I could see at a glance where it's safe and unsafe to park troops. In my latest game I've taken all of French, Belgian, English, and South African Africa. I constantly had to click on various provinces to see the infra. ratings :eek:

11.This one may not be relevant, but in the available unit list, I'd love to have the newly produced units distinguished from those that simply just became available from a strategic redeployment. It would be cool to see their stats too, like org. level in the case of redeployed units, so you could decide whether you want to put them in Armies that are too busy to wait for them to rebuild org.

12.Air units and sub units should have an option to avoid fighting and hide. It's just silly to have transport planes intercepting enemy strat. bombing missions in their province. Subs and surface ships shouldn't have to auto fight convoys either.

13.Naval bombers should have an option to hunt convoys in nearby sea zones. Historically the Germans had bombers in Norway that went after Murmansk convoys.

14.Admirals with the wolfpack skill should get experience for fighting convoys. Except in limited circumstances (like a weak enemy fleet appearing) they will probably be avoiding straight up fights, so how else can they get skill levels?

Well, thats my two cents. Thanks a million billion, Johann and Paradox crew for making HoI. I await the sequel with whole gobetts of drool down my shirt ..... sorry ;)
