I wish there was a function to automatically change the culture of neighboring provinces like a 'reform center'.
If you convert Provinces, you are constantly changing to Greek culture without spending (or less) diplomatic points.
To be honest, the Greek culture isn't very good at performance.
Seriously, in terms of performance, being a Padisha is much better.

If you dont want to culture convert everything, accept cultures, pick humanist ideas, use vassals to control a culture group etc etc. Centres of reformation would be dumb, but gradual culture change in percentages automatically happening would be nice

Oh, that's what I said.
I just heard the parable as a center of reform.
I know that there is no system that automatically and gradually changes culture in game.
To be honest, like a Mughal, "What the hell is this?" There is also a government of the same performance in the game.
From Anatolia to the Levant (depending on your options), I thought it was okay as long as it allowed the culture to change slowly and steadily.
It might be possible to expand Rome a little bit more when certain conditions are met.
Like the Mongolian culture of Oirat, it could be a culture of acceptance at once as an event, but I don't think it would be fun.

A cool byzantium or rome mechanic might be that if you have mercenaries of a particular culture for say 20 years you get an event to add them as an additional accepted culture (still paying 100 diplo). Maybe with an increasing risk of a rebellion disaster if you do it too many times.

This is really fun too!
It was also an empire that used mercenaries well.
