Deaghaidh: Very amusing show. But you must be an equal opportunity comedian and hit the lefties as well. Great start!

Your PM box is full, so I'll say this publicly. Jacob Langley, founder and president of the Nationalist Party, would love to be a guest on your show.

I'll get the lefties as soon as they do something funnier than the right :D I'll empty my PMs, but we might need to wait until sweeps for Langley's guest spot :D It sounds good, we'll have to work out something for the next episode.

If anyone else wants to throw just one or two questions/ provoke a rant feel free to suggest 'caller' dialogue

A breif idea for the excellent show D, do a rant on the multitude of media outlets! This allows you to 'bag' (aussie term for insult) both sides of the political divide. :p

Celt: Thank you kindly listener. I put a lot of effort into that. You don't want to know how long it took me to come up with "kryptonite butt plug". I also notice your location is Cardolan, which means we must be neighbors :D

Hughbartlett: Hmm, a gleefully hypocritical rant on the panoply of media sources while simultaneously expanding a psuedo-news show? Might be something there :D

Mel: This is fun. I don't know about you, but I'm having a blast.

I'm still waiting for that feature article and interview.

EDIT: What happened to the latest article? I read it and got a good chuckle, then I began my scathing rebuttal. However when I wanted to look for a quote, it was gone. Just vanished into thin air. What gives? Is PI backing down from Jacob Langley and the Nationalist Party?:D

It'll happen, just a bit busy atm. :)

Hey, Craig: You don't want to get the Gazette on your bad side. It's a neutral paper, so if you get on its bad side...well, it could spell trouble in terms of publicity. See, I said CRITICS called you a fringe group--and the critics I was talking about were the Workers' Paper or whatever. I'm not a critic, I'm just getting both sides of the story. ;)

I have a question for you all. How open are you in posting party strategy and tactics? I just posted a piece that basically reveals Jake Langley's entire strategy for his never ending battle with the left. Also it gives a few suggestions for an overall party strategy. Not only that it would seem pretty obvious to a reader of mild intellignece how to effectively counter Langley.

However, it was a personal letter between himself and Charles Morgan (Hajji Giray). If we all are truly RPGing, no one other than those two would know the contents of that letter. Now it is likely that other FR members would come to know Langley's philosophy, but no one else. Do you role play when you read internal notes on other party's threads? Or is everything you read fair game?

I personally role play everything, the private messages, the threads, everything I can put in character I do. Because of the basicilly (Spelling?) honorable nature of my character, I wouldn't reveal the contents of a PM. In the 1420's RPG, I revealed pretty much everything I got (After all, Crnojevic wasn't an entirely good guy.).

I think that things said in Party HQ's for instance should be off limits to rebuttal by other members, IMO. I know most of us read what goes on in other party HQs, that can't be helped; but I don't think it's fair for others to act on or to react to what it is said there.

I mean, the way around this is to PM your party members, but that gets silly. I have used PMing, but only for really private matters relating to the game, and very rarely.

I agree that this is an area where rules could benefit from being spelled out a bit more clearly, so I'd be interested to hear what everybody has to say on the issue. :) In the specific case you mention, my own take would be that it's off-limits, as is all communication between party members in their own HQ.

On a related note, I was frankly unsure whether to respond to Langley's post in the CRE HQ at all, but decided to do so nonetheless in order to keep the little spat between our characters going. If any CRE-members or Ashley perceive this as an in-game invasion of privacy, just let me know and I'll gladly delete my comments. :)

I don't have a problem with this, since it is likely communications between parties or party leaders will be leaked eventually. I'd agree with the general consensus that internal discussions would be under much tighter wraps, and should be off limits. Though if you could plant a mole in another party, then it would be a different game. :D :D

Yup, that's the rationale I used for posting. :) That, or I just happened to be in the next room when you talked to the CRE-leaders, and the CRE-HQ has really thin walls. :D
