Hajji Giray I said:Hold on...Erc is Vice President, right?
from the PREBA:
II. If the office of the Vice-President is vacant, the President shall, within the first 72 hours of the beginning of such vacancy, nominate a Vice-President who shall only be sworn if a vote of the National Assembly, called immediately after the nomination, returns a majority in favor of confirming the Vice-Presidential nominee. If the vote fails to return a majority, the President shall submit another nominee for consideration by the National Assembly within 72 hours.
phelbas said:Ok if anyone is interested and with having so many miliatry trials someone might be. In the UK, and considering this countires histroy it doesn't seem to far fetched to think we would have simalarities, when the military court martial someone, they must follow the normal rules of law. ie if a soldier is charged with murder the elements and evidence required are the same. big difference is they are tried by mliatry officers. And the appeal from the court martial is to a courts martials appeal court which in which the civillian Lord Justices of appeal sit. there are of course crimes specific to the military, but appeals still go to a court with LJ's on it, not to more senior officers.
And on points of law the highest appeal is still to the House of Lords. ohh and in most cases of serious crime soldiers are tried by the civillian crown courts anyway. that included soldiers on operations in Northern Ireland as this was on soverign british territory. would be different if being tried for murder on duty in Iraq.
 so there is hope if i can get 1 more vote...... or is it 2 i need?heagarty said:Ask Blade! or Mel....
It all depends on how many people vote for your ticket. If it is only you then at least you have inheritted well and will not end up on the street selling black-market papayas. But I don't see how you can expect to win a seat if no one else votes for your NA ticket. The math's just not there.
But who knows, stranger things have....um, well, no, not really. You need to get some more votes.![]()
