A call for new voting procedures

After the latest election round it is fairly clear that the present voting rules does not really work for an RPG were people don't check in several times a day. The way it is now, only the party spokespersons can report in the party vote but they can't be here all the time. Notice for example that neither ONP or FMC voted in the election due to this.

I suggest new rules. One thought is that all members vote through their own votes(which of course could be disscussed in the party first) or that any partymember can take responsibility for a certian vote and be responsible for it being reported in.

as this is ooc....I'll put it here

Josephus suggestion is a viable one and has been put forward before.

Another thought. I know it is possible to restrict access to forums such as this but how about threads? What I'm aiming for here is the poll function. If we use this, the speaker will not have to count all the votes manually. If it is not possible to restrict access to a thread we could simply have a voting-subforum where only members of parlieament have access.

Have all the old EUtopia threads been deleted?
I was thinking about restarting the old One Party(ONP) and was looking for the original thread.
