This forum is becoming much too chaotic, and will no doubt become worse once governing begins. We need sub-folders such as Political Parties, Civil Servants, Newspapers, etc.

Some of these votes seem to be going far too fast, like the nominations for speaker of the house, the first I heard of it was a few hours before the deadline and it was too late for Top Cat to be nominated.
Not all of us can be on these forums 24/7 (some of us even have jobs..), and it's not fair to discriminate against us with these lightning quick events.

please slow down, or the players will be tired of it and will go somewhere else.
before voting for the new speaker, make sure that he will allow enough time for debate and voting.
Indeed, indeed, let's just hope that as soon the Speaker gets elected, he'll make more 'doable' rules for voting etc...
However because Blade! was running things almost on his own it's kind of normal he wants to get over the Speakers thingie ASAP.
So just hang on for a while untill everything settles...

Sub folders or stickys for the papers would be a great idea.
I also second the motion for a little more time in substantive matters. Maybe 48 hours, especially for the larger parties. We are all on a number of time zones and work schedules so we need time to meet up, talk, and so on.

I think it's time for someone to stick up for Blade! and the other people who try to run this show. It probably comes as no surprise to them that people are finding it hard to keep up, but you must realise that time is of the essence. Eutopia stands without government for one thing. Also, remember that Blade! is now provisional head of government. Consider the possibility that procedings are fast right now because it is desirable to have someone who is actually elected run Eutopia, rather than the moderators who took this on in the beginning just to get the show on the road.
After the first Speaker, and then PM, election, things will slow down, I am positive. There will be other elections in the future, you can count on it. (vote of no confidence, anyone? )

Paradox is giving you a forum for something that isnt really to do with their games - just be grateful for that for the moment. This is still an experiment.
4 things:

If your speaker wasn't nominated it is because whoever you elected Spokseper, didn't take the time to do his duty or understand the Constitution, the schedule for both Speaker & PM nominations has been up since the 2nd day of EUtopia.... by my count that is quite few days for that Per to have posted.
3.) There will be no sub-folders, it is tough enough for me to Mod this one, in addition to my other three folders, much less more here.

I AM grateful and I FULLY understand what Paradox has given us. Official Game forums are usually the dullest especially compared to fan forums because they're so well... stiff, that's why this is the only forum I hang around on because It, the admins and the people on it kick ASS!
