You know, JL, I've always found ML's hostility to the Unity Party a little... well, unbelievable.

I mean, the UP is a group of people largely comprised of ML's father's partymates, co-legislators, and co-ministers. ML himself also had relatively agreeable dealings with a variety of these people in Term 7. So while I understand why you, the player, might want to take the UP to task (opposing those in power, keeping 'em honest, etc.), I've never understood why ML the character would want to do the same.

If I create bill for a committee, who would be able to be on it (Senators, MGAs, Ministers, etc.) do I as the bill-writer get to choose who is on it, or is it merely determined by Senate, etc. (Mods)?

There are no restrictions on who can become member of a commission. As to who gets to make appointments: see Art. 45 of the Constitution.
