There is nothing wrong with "TMV" as an abbreviation (not that I know of, at least). It's the names themselves. Marmaduke? I mean, really - I can understand why he hates his parents (genteelly, mind).I Killed Kenny said:I know.. but what is wrong with TMV? I don't get it ( I'm portuguese you know)
I think I've explained already how the procedure works; repeating the request isn't going to make it work any faster.I Killed Kenny said:and MEL, may party allready have the support of 2 more people *hint hint*
Voshkod said:So can we start picking at the Constitution yet?
For example, if the Council of State wants to impeach the Attorney General (the head of the Council of State), it needs five votes of seven to suceed. Assuming the AG either won't vote or will vote no, then two no votes (instead of three) would decide the AG's fate.
I like the fact that certain inconsistances are built in. For example, the Federal government has control over national parks and the environment, but the provincal government has control over forestry. This could cause some nice fights. Similarly, the Feds have control over health and welfare, the provinces over science and technology. So, if one province decides to legalize cloning research, and the Feds don't want it, what happens? I'll tell you - more work for lawyers!
There does not appear to be a presidential veto power; should there be?
The President is the commander in chief, but the Parliment can kick out service chiefs. Does this lessen the President's CoC power?
The Constitution is great, by the way, and the above nitpicks are just that. Ambiguity in a constitution is a great way to cause problems (just look at the US version).
Good work again, mods!
I know! Funny you should ask. It so happens that Beloved Wife #1 (Lorelai Ophelia) ended up in a psychiatric clinic.Green_alien said:Is he divorced or did his wifes "mysteriously" died because of "heart attack" ?
