Frankly, I've not found the present incarnation of Eutopia very fun or interesting. We wound up with two factions with identical platforms burning each other in effigy over mistatements and spelling mistakes, then a complete re-alignment of the political situation overnight. With the exception of PURE, everyone agrees on virtually everything, yet continues to insist anyone else leading will be anarchy. If (when) real politicians act like this, groups like the Rhino Party form as outlets for peoples frustration with the establishment. But if we try to do the same in Eutopia, its so unrealistic it'll ruin the game? I don't get it.
I agree, I just don't see the big bad harm that the Walrus Party would have caused to the game. And I also think this incarnation of the game so far has been a lot less fun. I can watch two identical parties tear each other apart over who whose dad is, and then I can read three or four newspapers' slanted take on it. Its just not as interesting when everyone takes themselves so seriously, so maybe when things lighten up a bit, I'll come back. But for now, I'm gonna bow out. Sorry to the two or so of you who actually liked the tabloid, but I'd hate to wear out that joke's welcome too.
