You know there is no way, in real life, this "No-Fly zone" in Cuba would ever be allowed. Unlike with Iraq, the Europeans have businesses in Cuba. A no-fly zone means all their hotels are empty (not to mention stranded people)--- there are plenty of European/ Canadian business doing business in Cuba.

But it is fun to watch.

That is why it is only for one week, unless a revolution breaks out there, in which case, the hotels are not going to be popular, except with the newsmen covering the events. The possible announcement I provided Phalanx implicitly acknowledged that it would be an economic hardhship for Cuba, hence the limited duration. I also acknowledged that it could be considered an act of war, and thus should be imposed unless there were grounds for war, which there seem to be.

BTW, Your character could consider asking for Iressa, which when if got turned down by the FDA led to the chain of events that landed Martha Stewart behind bars. It was later approved for some cases. Have him read what you want, but he is likely to get more good out of medical articles than Marx. And if he must read Marx, try Groucho. :rofl:

P.s. To HJ Tulp, when you are RPing Commander LeGrave, could you uncheck the 'show your signature' box, so it doesn't look like the acting President is taking advice from someone who is being courtmartialled, and, if you like, manually type in Commander LeGrave at the bottom of the post in place of a signature if appropriate, or otherwise work it into to the post who it is. (for example: Commander LeGrave thought the acting President looked better on his TV show than in person. It must be the lack of make-up here.) As some posts are now, it could be a bit confusing. I know when I was RPing Stile Van Ewen, I had to edit several of my posts to remove the signature, so it is easy to forget.

Actually I've never seen marching orders for any vessel actually and all it would have taken was a single message of: ENS Unapproachable is to rendez-vous with Two Knox Frigates and then set course to [LOCATION] to rendez-vous with Tilapian TF.

Or if Tulp's request is approved by President O'Floinn, he can be flown out the Unapproachable which happens to be in the TF. Just brainstorming here, but if you come up with a plausible way to get LeGrave onto the ship (or O'Floinn approves Tulp's request and flies you out to the carrier) then I'd be more than happy to slip you into the action.

No need to bring him back from his long streak of inactivity (even though he is currently the Speaker of the NA) just to kill him, even if the ever-popular Jools Coke-Orgy death is available.
