A letter
Dear. Mr. Maccabeus:
As the new CEO of New Lancaster Recording Company, it has come to my attention that at the moment the only CD my company produces is a 40-year-old rendition of Handel's Water Music. It has also come to my attention that many--indeed, almost all--of the great EUtopian classical music is not to be found on compact disc or even old vinyl records.
For this reason I wish to request that the EUtopian Symphony Orchestra help record their renditions of the following pieces:
Bach, Friedrich:
Piano Concertos 1 and 2
de Capistrano, Pedro:
Los Viajes del Soldado Suite
Guitar Concerto in E Flat
Eriksen, Bjorn:
Symphony #3, "The Norse Fury"
Martinson, Robert:
Piano Concerto in D
Kavanaugh, William: Symphonies 1-8 (am I correct in understanding that the score for #3 is lost?)
Lindhood, Charles: EUtopian Waltzes (there are 12 of them)
Salbert, Jean: Chateauvallon Evenings Suite, French Dances
I hope to publish all of these on high quality, DDD compact discs to begin our definitive collection of EUtopian music, and sincerely hope your fantastic orchestra will perform on all our future CDs.
Sincerely,
Charles S. Morgan
