EUTOPIAN MONARCHIST LEAGUE​

THE MONARCHIST LEAGUE believe that both history and contemporary experience prove that Monarchy has been, is, and will continue to be of inestimable value in establishing and maintaining the stability, welfare, and dignity of all countries. The most stable countries of the world are monarchies. Our aims are:
(a)To unite support for the monarchial system
(b)To work for better awareness of the advantages of monarchy
(c)To foster respect for Monarchy and to defend those royal prerogatives which enable monarchs to be truly the fount of justice and honour, and to safeguard their peoples from political extremism
(d)To liaise with and support monarchist groups throughout the world in the preservation and furthurance of the monarchist ideal.
(e)To counter unjustified criticism of the Monarchy in the media, and from whatever source it may come.

THE EML GENEALOGY DEPARMENT
If there's a trace of noble blood in you, our genealogy teams will find it no matter how miniscule it may be. Even if you aren't noble, our department is more than happy to accomodate your needs. Know your history.

THE EML YOUTH
The league owns several nature camps and retreats where children ages 7-16 can come to experience the outdoors. There is a plethora of fun activities including archery, swimming, athletic competitions, and more. Children will learn the respect for tradition, discipline, and honor needed to live a moral life today.

THE EML SECURITY DEPARMENT
Our security forces are primarily for our own purposes and protection. In this day and age it is very important to remain safe, and we wouldn't trust anyone but our own for protection. However in special cases we offer our services for contract.

The EML security branch is recruiting right now. We're hiring ex-military types from all over the globe, and putting out the call here in Eutopia. The EML is assembling a private para-military force to help corporations and aid our stretched armed forces if we can. I've been in correspondence with several ex-military officers to serve as advisors and trainers, one from Russia, one ex-CIA, and the other a South African.

A reply arrives from MIDA

We received the following request from your offices.

The EML would like to request 200 permits for the use of automatic weapons for our security forces. Our security department intends to accept contracts for situations requiring a little bit more firepower. Nothing illegal, simply more dangerous jobs.

Weapons permits are not interchangable commodities to be ordered by the 100. The identity of each person for which a permit is sought is required to process their application, as well as the fifty ducat application fee. That applies to normal non-automatic weapons only. MIDA does not issue weapons permits for automatic weapons.

A man in an immaculately tailored navy blue suit, shot through with thin pinstripes, arrives at the EML offices. He is a lean and handsome man, with a wolfish face and sky-blue eyes, and thin slicked-back silver hair.

He smiles at the receptionist, and gives her a slight bow. "Good afternoon, Miss. I have a card to deliver to Per Campbell, and would like to speak with him." His accent betrays his Russian origins.

He pops open a silver business card case with a Romanov eagle inscribed on it, and slides a card almost as thick as a credit card over the counter.

"Is there any chance I can deputize some of your security force for a short term task? It is just manning some road blocks in an area where we have few resources, until we can shift some other ministries start taking care of the people there."

Thanks, send who ever you can down to an arc stretching from Hurteau to Sablé to Grandville, but only if they can get there within 2 hours or less. Tell them to report to the local FLEA offices, or failing that the provincial police offices. I will pass the word to expect them. Deadly force will not be necessary, this is just an herding exercise to keep some refugees in place until the right people arrive to process them. FLEA or police will be in charge, you men are their to fill out their numbers.

Fort Imperium​

Fort Imperium has been established in Gloriana as the largest EML youth camp. It is set up on a military basis, teaching children discipline and comradery. While it markets itself to the middle to upper class as a rather light hearted summer camp with a focus on respect and tradition, it practices rigorous idealogical training of the children. Symbols of the monarchy adorn nearly every building, and the Eutopian flag waves high throughout the camp. All the youths are required to wear uniforms to encourage fraternity. Activities include swimming, rowing, team sports, archery, rifle training, marching, hiking, and self defense. There are also theology and history courses offered, with a particularly pro Anglo Eutopian and Monarchist bent. It teaches that the seccession of Tilapia and St. Esprit were caused by the betrayal of the socialists to Eutopia and that their current governments are illegitimate instituitions.

A young man walks in. While he is in ordinary garb, his heavy German accent and slightly protuding lower lip show that he is a Hapsburg. His name:Francis(Franz) von Hapsburg.
"What can a fellow aristocrat do for the restoration of the Monarchy, my frienss?" He asks.

That all depends on how far you are willing to go...

If your loyalty is to the King and his law, and not to this clown's Republic you may be interested in joining the Chivalric Order of the Golden Dawn. This would be especially suitable if you have military experience or expertise to offer. There is a counter revolution in the works...

If you feel more comfortable in the political arena, you should join the Conservative Union of Eutopia (CUE) and lobby for a more hardline pro Monarchist stance to be taken. Though the Monarchy hasn't been an issue in a long time, the CUE is the only pro Monarchy party.

Also, if you have any financial assistance you can offer, that is always welcome.

In the future, certain events may require assistance from the aristocracy. I know now that I can call on you as an ally.

Thankyou for your help. Perhaps I can organise a grass-roots, nonviolent movement to support the monarchy? It could be the peaceful counterpart to the Order of the Golden Dawn. I am willing to support a constitutional monarchy with a strong aristocracy, like the system in the United Kngdom. Perhaps monarchy might appeal to the masses, and finally and peacefully drive extremists out of the government.

You're more than welcome to use the EML to fund and create a Monarchist populist movement. That was its original purpose. Appeal to the middle class fear of communist takeover. It always works. Host some rallies, do a few charities, and get the people sentimental about the good old days before the republic.

I have no aversion to negotiating with the Moderate "parliamentary" left, but I agree that we should oppose unfettered despots like communists and facists.

btw, maybe we should also appeal to the working class? After all, we need to create a strong, broad, anticommunist front, and what better way to stop extremists than by appealing to those who would likely support them?

P.S. While I am not a proper military expert, and I might be able to help with counterinsurgency tactics at the Order.

Sir Augustus enters the offices of the EML, flanked by his aides, his main secretary and his security staff. Sir Augustus opens "I am curious about this EML, yet, my family has never been monarchists per se, but strictly feudal Aristocrats. This means, the de Provolutions can never back up a monarch alternative, but agree on the common goal of reunification of Eutopia into one state. I am willing to enter negotiations between the Knights of the Imperial Order, located in Huntington, Gloriana, and your oeganization EML. However, my organization can for several reasons not cooperate with societies such as Rosicrucians and so on, as we are not free-masons, but blue-blooded imperialists seeking the reunification and modernization of Eutopia".
