You know, I was just reading that royalist paper. About how the CPR was a complete failure because we destroyed the people's choice. I'm not denying that our alliance did squash the CRE presidential candidate's chances of winning, but the people still elected as many monarchist represenatives in parliament as they would have with no CPR. And there were still as many pro-republican votes as monarchist votes. The majority of people did not want a monarchist as President, we just helped them focus on that.

Would the CRE have governed any better than we did just because they were one solid party? Not at all. Would you even call them a solid party? Does anyone remember the smattering of people in that party? Rebecca Cook, sometimes thought of as too left to join the ESRP, and various right-wingers under the same roof. Sounds like the CPR, only with no issues.

The CRE was so often hailed as a one issue party. An issue which they abandoned after the CPR's victory. What were they then? Hard to say, they collapsed so fast. Monarchy was the only thing that their membership was united by, and they stopped talking about it. So they were gone and the CPR broke up, it's purpose served. The center declined as the wings grew stronger, the monarchists all but forgotten.

Until now. The center regroups and new faces rally to the monarchist cause.

This show has been a little serious for my taste, so when we get back from this commercial break, I'm going to cluck like a chicken.

I really find it funny that all these protests are springing up about the government trying to destroy democracy through the death penalty. Especially since they're all happening after the President and MILE removed Judge Anton and are moving to put a temporary stop to the DP.

It's just hilarious that everyone thinks they're doing so damn much to help the country by insulting the current politicians, rather than making a coherrent lobby to their representatives in the NA to put a stop to it. So cheers everyone, thanks for saving mankind with a few insults, I think you deserve a medal.

Let's drink a toast to Charles Morgan. Who will ever fill his shoes as MDIA?

Well, i certainly hope that it would be a career soldier this time.

My first MDIA was a career soldier, good ole General Hartwell. He spent all his time arguing with and insulting politicians. Oh, and planning a coup.

I think we really need a great diplomat next term. I always thought I'd make a pretty good MDIA, but I think I'd like to remain AG for a while.

Well in my opinion Morgan would have been good. But unfortunately he is no longer with us.

You know, I don't know why some people have such huge problem with homosexuals. People just can't accept differences sometimes. Used to be illegal for African-Americans to own land. Now that is considered a horrible and foolish idea. Which brings me to my point. People do foolish things sometimes. Like when we build houses by the waterfront and they get wiped out by a flood, then rebuild them in the same place. Seeing as my point wasn't as coherrent as I'd hoped, so now I'm going to go through some of my mail. You know, ideas for skits, plans to revitalize the economy, death threats, normal stuff.

O'Floinn sorts through a pile of letters on his table

"Dear John, why are you so hard on the NA? Being an MNA is probably stressful, and they don't need you criticizing them. I hope they draft a bill this term to take you off the air."

I hope they draft a bill this term period.

"Dear John, I have this totally kickass plan to preserve nature in Eutopia. We kill all the beavers, then all the trees will be saved!"

Good luck with that.

"Dear John, I have the perfect idea for your show. You invite the President on your show, then you shoot him. It'll be hilarious, because he'll be dead."

Next time you write me, I'd like to know....is the food as bad as they say?

You have a righ to be angry, my fellow Eutopians. President Glasser has made an error here, I admit it. But honestly, why the strike? It won't hurt President Glasser. Sure, it will hurt the economy and risk the safety and prosperity of your friends and families and all your and their children, but it won't hurt Glasser. It may make him less likely to get re-elected, but if you're all that displeased with him, I don't think it will matter. Besides, two wrongs don't make a right. Three lefts do, but that's another story.

Seriously though, this strike is ill-concieved and doesn't do anything to rectify the problem or even to punish Glasser.

Remember, Glasser was elected by you, the people, and is held accountable by you. If you think he is no longer the man you voted for, tell it to your National Assembly representatives. Don't launch badly planned protests that don't accomplish anything.

Poor show everyone. Very poor.

O'Floinn sighs and reclines his large chair. He notices the camera is still on and sits up abruptly.

The show's not over is it?

One of O'Floinn's interns mumbles something from offstage.

Damn.

Leans back a bit, drumming his fingers on the armrest. Stands up after a few seconds and starts walking off stage.

Hey Jim! Show the "Wild MNA" video again, I'm going golfing!

So I was talking with MILE Tilly a few days ago. He's doing a great job as MILE. He really is. Tackling things with determination and a firm hand. But he's been so busy, he's feeling a little burned out. So I think I'll try to usurp power. I mean, why not?

Good evening, my fellow Eutopians. Joining me later tonight is a guest you all may or may not remember. The last member standing in the DA. That's right, Alice Whitby.
