I've been playing the US version's (Version 1.07) tutorial and I want to know why I can't save? Any suggestions?

P.S. Yes, it's the full US version. Don't spam me on why I have it... I just do. I will buy it the second it's out since it's such an awesome game... and delete the copy I have. I just couldn't wait to try this game in English any longer.

You...you..., i hope ur not saying what i think u are. If u are, then:
1) tell Patric NOW about where you got the game.
2) find somewhere else for your questions, you can find the answers out when u BUY a version like the rest of us.

This has to be a joke.
Nobody would be stupid enough to post questions for help on Pardox's OFFICIAL WEB SITE - WITH PIRATED SOFTWARE!

Well since QpQ seems to -care- about EU, I'm sure he wouldn't have a prob with giving Paradox the URL of the warez site that distributes the game--of course, then what i dunno... maybe this is a hoax or somethin anyways.

Quid,

Here's my solution:

a) Get the cd you got from your little warez friends,

b) guide it gently with your thumb and forefinger until it reaches the flaps of your ass

c) squeal like Miss Piggy, as you shove it in there.

The only way to recompensate Paradox is if you give them the information on the person / company / warez site that sold you the game, or perhaps the ftp where you downloaded it. Otherise don't look for any compassion or help here.

To me it looks like there is some leak at Strategy First(ST) or the Company that prints the CD's for them, I know you normally can get any software on the net really soon after the release, but this long before the release date can only point in one direction, somebody involved in the production or distribution released it to the warez guys. So ST start a search and get this guy you owe it to Paradox and all the other game producers you distribute for.

Sap,
'I gather that's a little less cordial than he's accustomed to.' :D

LOL!

Quid,
But good idea - turn in that damn warez site. Even if you really buy the game for yourself, many others are getting a pirated copy.
If we all want to keep on getting quality software from companies, then we shouldn't want to put up with piracy.

I've never posted here before, but seeing that message got me angry enough to do so. I've been reading this forum for almost a year, and have eagerly waited for this game's release since the day I first stumbled across this site. I am in awe of the work Paradox has put into making what is literally the game of my dreams. I am more than happy to reward their hard work and their willingness to listen to gamers by paying for the product. Anyone who downloads a copy of the game from a warez site ought to be ashamed of themselves. I hope Quid Pro Quo does the honorable thing and deletes his copy NOW, plus telling Paradox who he downloaded it from, how he heard about it, etc. Otherwise, I think Sapura's suggestion wouldn't be harsh enough.

ISiddiqui,

Yes, of course mein leader! I'm of course going to take everything this young warez l0rd tells us, to heart! Sure, he'll buy the game -- absolutely! Word of honour stuff there, coming from a guy who steals software. Yep, yep indeedy-do!

He's definitely deserves our most heartfelt apologies!

I must admit that I have downloaded some games using warez sites.
I came to do this after spending lots of money on bug infested games from companies who didn't care to support their games in the future.
Because of this my principles have become weakened.

But...I still spend money on games and other software. Even when I already have an illegal copy. Why?

1: Out of principle..because the software industrie needs money to produce better software. You'll be amazed how much research sometimes has been done.

2: Because the software or game is so good.
When I think something is great. Then I gladly spend money on it just to encourage the makers to produce even better software.
Sometimes I even buy a second copy (falcon 4)

3: Because it's my experience that it is more fun anyways when you have a good working game with a manual.

4: Also when the makers show such dedication in supporting the software, its important to show your gratitude.

I wish that every company would show such dedication like paradox does.
It's sickening to see how some companies rush their games to be ready in time for Christmas (Hasbro).
Companies who rush their games and/or don't support their bugged games well, should realise that they are at least partly to blame that some people get angry and start looking for other means to acquire a game.
Even if it to just test it first before deciding to buy it afterwards (like I do sometimes with companies from which I have bought an unfinished game).

This game I will certainly buy!

Sorry, I trust him over you. At least, he's honest!

Heh, it's people like you that make me sick. In your opinion there's no one out there that has denied himself/herself the urge to pirate something, (and therefore you have an excuse) just because

a) its easier
b) its more opportunate
c) cheaper
d) any other excuse like 'trying it out'

I may not be PERFECT, or may not have been perfect with regards to pirated software, however I am a person who has learnt from his mistakes.

People like you and him have all the intelligence of a biscuit. Not content with ripping software off, they then have the balls to go on company forums, or usenet groups and ask for help. What do you expect Paradox to do, you inbred little trollop? Kiss his ass in gratitude because he says its such a wonderful game? You really are one screwed up individual.

If you're going to warez a game, don't make a further ass of yourself by parading your problems on developers' forums for help because something does not work according to plan.
