Nice session for Porto, got my trade income back up again, gained nice techs but want to improve my fleet that is lagging and without remarkable leaders

In Old Regimes and Revolutions (the game i am GMing), we make an average of 20 years each session (without playing extra time), and we do rehost for everyone who CTDs (right at the next january).
Saying that the CTDs are the factor behind slowing the game, is, absurd, Jonny. In ORR, we had more CTDs for sure, we do not play more 30 minutes past the scheduled hour (unless everyone agrees), and we always played 20 years so far. Not crappy 10 years or less.
EDITED: and we have 11-12 players iirc.

No it's probably better but, I didn't host at all, so i'm sure it was fine Cas. My connection wasn't on at all due to work.
Joo, just hosted when I didn't show up, and apparently boasts a super good connection ... that I can attest too. I'm pretty sure he will be our mainhost from now on, there is no way your connection which is still slower then mine and his will surpass the no-lag festival (well almost
) we had.

K'shar, as you know, connection speed doesnt tell anything, but stability. If Joo is stable fine. I can atest that my con is very stable (how many times did I crash in all EGA's history?), but we can go with Joo, as long as he seems stable and host at BN/Normal without a problem.

We did 27 years in, in the 4th session of EGA6.
However, we've probably done even better in EGA2/3 where the average was 8-10 players.

Problems with my computer are piling up. Latest in a series of a disastrous news is that my data drive is formatted together with my life and a lot of work on it. Recovery is in the process.

I prolly won't be able to access province.csv till friday at best. Pls, pls, pls GMs,split the workload and extract codes of North Africa and Saudi Arabia. They are Sunni and arabic for much more then 60 years and OE should've claimed cores on them 2 sessions ago. I waited to be sure about the date but disaster struck in the meantime. Pls help me
