In Croatia in last 50 years we used commas to show decimals (err, number smaller than 1), and . for the thousands. And then recently, it was changed, dot (.) is for decimals and comma for thousands. Not sure why but I learned it that way. Older people usually put commas for decimals.

Actually Cas is right in this one. Well, at least in Portugal it is how it works as well. The "," is only used when you are using decimal numbers, which is the case. And "." used to divide a very long number, like 1.000.000.000.000, so that you dont have to count every single anoying 0 (and thus you can pronounce the number faster).

"USAan" ppl always use their own and unique style and for them it is the only one correct in the world. Too bad that ppl like to copy them

You had a 1mbit avg. connection before? Well anyhow, you know what matters most, upload speed and 2 way connectivity (as an example, you and I often have a dismal 2-way connection) .
Communications speed isn't that relevant ... mine is usually about 3mb, but somedays that means 500 kbps and others 700 etc upload. Only by test running can one tell a players hosting suitability etc. I'm sure most EGA6 players have approximately a 2bit connection.

Anyway, yes I had 1mb since long time ago and it is really true that from time to time a got issues with your connection...
Anyway2, my upload now is 500kb (was 256kb). And I do "test" everyweek since I am the host of "Mi reino por un Perú", a 9 players game, where I usually host at normal speed without issue. In EGA6, when you were absent, I hosted at BN for 14 players and at normal for the same 14 (but at normal lots of ppl had lags). Dont know how will I perform with my new upload though.
