HoG, MOD is ok. I think that with right options we can have all the balance we need. If you see something amiss with the MP it can be corrected.

Regarding date of start.... well not everybody has recovered from holidays yet and we need more people anyway - IE:R is not finished yet and all issues about the mod probably haven't been discused yet - no need to hurry all in all

Yes, IMHO, we should still keep and try the MOD. However it needs some changes here and there, especially Spain and OE, as HoG said...

Also, as HoG said to me on icq, it would be good if we add some French vassals, for balance.

You're right, Nab, maybe the best is to not rush, since this is a whole new world... And also we would catch Tem to play with us ... But we cant take a long time either...

Oh, I agree.

I told Caslu I'd rather use this mod as a starting point than ditch Kasperus' map. But I do think we need to be prepared to do some substantial revisions to make it playable.

Regarding the scenario, I do want to use it badly in MP. However, please use the standard historical eventfile. If I want to play a ahistorical game, I'll go play a randomised one, and minimalising the eventfile was imo a waste of R.yo's time. And please, don't use his random event set. There are a few interesting events in it, but the generic random one is still better.

Also, if you guys truly must start early, the only option I see is for me to take Netherlands. I don't truly want to pick up someone else's nation after 3-4 sessions.

I'll have to talk with array of stars (**********) but there is nothing substantial I can tell him now. HoG, please, can u look into MOD and give us your opinion ASAP. Same for the rest. We have a lot of work to do if we are to make it to our liking in a month or so...

Yesteday I talked with K' on ICQ and I said to him that your 20 years' proposal has a good go... Probably it'll be what we'll use... Need to talk with Trajan first thou.

We are playing with historical events, since almost everyone wants it.

About edits, I, K'shar and Trajan will consider all edits that you guys would like to implement in this scen.

Well for me, and thus also for Ozzeh, we still await a positive response to the proposal made in post 44 and to which a refererence, perhaps more clear, was made in post 49.

If we join the game I am sure both of us want to play with the new map, because it is so exciting with a new map. But f-ck some of Ryo's radical events. I believe he is presently working on scaling them. Sitting alone in his chamber scribbling furiously while cursing all those conservative idiots who do not understand the true brilliance of that masterpiece of his.

Dan, until now EGA has been a good game to play where ppl only left for RL problems... Of course there have been thousands of emotional discussions but until now, not bad quitting IIRC.

EGA is not BF. We play together for a long time. Joohoo, Kwfinn, Tem and me are here till EGA3. Caslu and K'shar are here from the beginning (EGA1) and noone have quitted till now. We are like a small family here and like every family we had our share of hatred and cursing but, all in all, this game could be described as one of the most friendly ones (as far as you can be friendly with people whom you are fighing century after century after century). I assure you that noone from the initial EGA crew will quit. For others I can't guarantie but I belive they will stick with us rather then admit complete surrender with quitting. Though, if someone wants to quit noone will hold him. Fighters don't quit and quitters don't fight anyway.
