lol, Cas we never decided on edits for the NL. I'll go with my intuition then - 1000 ducats, 45 warships, spanish maps, 25k army. I added aboriginal as a state culture (should they get others?), did the core edits and kept leaders the same for this session as we didn't really have a discussion on the matter yet, though I have added the chance for conqs, and exploreres to appear.

Edit: Austria techs (16/11/3/3) are not crappy compared to Spain (14/11/3/4)

If you want NL to have Spanish tecs, the solution is: give the NL provs to Spain and Spain will release it.
Oh, and same thing goes for maps...

Guys, I know that it could be obvious thing for you, but I haven't knew about it until now (once again thx for help Joohoo ) so I will post instructions , posted by Ozzeh, about bug in joining by IP:

Click on the multiplayer tab in the main menu, then click internet game.
In the area where you can type, first type a few deletes. The join button should now gray out. THEN enter the IP. This is because there is a bug in the latest beta where there is a space already in the type area which will cause your computer to lock up if you try to join without deleting it.

i am using FASTWEB, an italian ISP i do not recommend at all.
they provide not a public IP, but a residential one, internal to their network.

every time i need to play EU2 or use FTP or do anything that requires my computer to be seen outside the FASTWEB network, i need to activate the public IP option, at a certain cost, from FASTWEB's main page.

The thing is that today it says that due to some intenal problems, they cant provide the public IP i am requesting and tell me to retry.

i dont know if i could be able to join.. today.. i need to change ISP!

Ahh but being the good player I am, I resisted the urge to hypertech and instead waged wars on the games 2 most powerful early game states ... while Russia, well just look at your size/tech vs casualties

And slow exploration really did hurt ... thousands in lost trade ducats.
