Guys here are the rules for EGA3 to be aproved for ya. Fell free to criticize, make suggestions and new ideas. As I've already said I decided to "promote" K'shar to CO-GM, as he is the host and the editor to help me in some issues.
- Don't offend players; but you are free to do it Roleplaying with diplomacy, tho;
- Edits always between Sessions and never during them. Cosmetic edits allowed (changing colonies names for more appropriate ones etc);
- Map trading with AI forbidden; Map trading with human only possible after 1600
- Maximum 3 provinces taken by a human in a war, non-europeans provs count as 1/2 and CoTs as 2 provinces. This only takes effect between humans. No rule between humans and AI. After 1650 maximum of 5 provinces can be taken. After 1700, 7 provs and after 1800 no peace restriction;
- Spain and Portugal restricted to their respective ToT areas for colonization, while ToT is in effect;
- If at -3 stab and -85WS, you have to accept next stabhitting offer. This is a vital rule and I ll be pay attention for its accomplishment;
- Cultural Rule: Any nation that control 75% of a culture for 30 years may claim that culture as state culture, but a nation can only claim TWO(2) cultures. So plan it carefully as a culture gained by this way will not be removed in any case; Japanese, Han, Cantonese and Persian can't be claimed, but persian can be claimed by OE or Mughals after 1700s; Also all nations can claim one, and only one, culture as a small state culture, if a culture has 2 or less provs.
- A nation that control a Province that it isnt his core for 60 years and it has a state culture, will get a core on it. This doesnt have limit like culture, ie, you can gain a core as much as you be able to claim it, and the core prov MUST have the same religion of the country, unless the country has Innovativiness >=9; Colonies cant be claimed!!
-We will always play with the latest patch, unless there is a good reason to not do it;
- Using pirates to stop a load or deny a retreat is forbidden;
- A Counter-reform country can't dow Counter-reform countries unless this country has a cassus belli on the other; Also CRC countries will get a -1 stab penalty (edited after the session) if dows a catholic country ( and still suffers the normal penalties);
- Extraordinary peaces are allowed:
1)End Embargo ( must be demanded even with a WP);
2) Stop colonization of a certain area by a nation - This will forbid the defeated nation to colonize that area ( 1 continent per peace, considering that North America, South America and Central America are different continents) during the duration of the peace. +15WS;
3) Trade rights - Permit that certain nation have monopoly under one ofthe defetead nations COTs without threatens by the lost nation. Must be atmax one COT per peace and costs +10WS;
4) Desmilitarization of an area -No troops will be acceptable in that area and the fortifications of the area loses one level; it will be edited after the session. Cost 1/3 per province, ie, After winning war against Spain in 1500 she can demand Rousillon, Navarra and desmilitarization of Aragon, Cantabria and Gerona!!!
5) The durations of these agreements is 20 years;
- Max of 3 human per alliance
- If a human is forced-vassalized he must remain this way for at least 20 years. Unless its liege free him peacefully; and after those 20 years he must have to fight for independence. Despite the fact he can attack the vassalizer allies, he cant attack his vassals.
- AAR and intense diplomacy are highly recomended.. don?t let the game dies during the weekdays.
- The GM will make decisions by himself for small issues. But for polemical issues the CO-GM will also discuss the problem with the GM. If they get a consensus on the matter the problem is solved, but if they don?t agree with each other, the rest of the regular players will vote (The GM and the CO-GM wont vote) and decide, for minimum majority (50% +1). If , even with this, a draw happen, the GM and only him will put a final point on it.
- We are playing with Random Leaders and this matter is under the responsability of K'shar and Temujin.
- Increase the chance of nations to receive conquerors and explorers after 1580.
- Give away cities or try to avoid some event to fire is considered gamey and wont be permitted.
- Move capitols is permitted but the request nation will lose -3 stab points and 300d.
