First of all massive props for the update. I really like the new European buildings and think that they're 95% where they need to be in order to be a really nice addition to our cities. So please don't take the following as a complaint but rather a few ideas that can improve this feature with (hopefully) not a large amount of work:

The easy:
- European buildings Really need to be a district policy. Most cities in Europe do have a historic district (old town etc) and this is a great addition to give our cities character. However 90% of the cities will mostly be composed of (more) modern buildings. With few exception (small touristic places) it's unreasonable that a city be composed solely of pre 1950 buildings. The easiest compromise I can see at this point is to group all the historic buildings in the 1-4 tiers and import the 5th tier buildings in the European biome. Then we can use the "Highrise ban" policy to control the type of buildings being built.
- Art style - it might be a personal preference, but the color palette should be toned down a notch - most cities would have strict regulations about the colors allowed.
- Art style - reduce the number of flags on buildings - not too realistic that each building flies a different flag.
- Art style - should remove some of the old looking ads - while they do look cool, you don't really see them around these days.
- Art style - should remove or drastically reduce the amount of TV ads on the commercial buildings. Those would be strictly prohibited on any historic building, I think. To a lesser extent the same applies to the solar panels.
- Going back to the European buildings, the proper solution would be to make them a district policy. That would allow us to use the full 1-5 tier range of both eras.
- The corner buildings look very cool, however they only work on perfect 90 degrees grids. At the moment it seems that we have a choice between gridding our cities or not using the cool corner buildings. Corner detection can probably be improved as to spawn corner buildings on less than perpendicular intersections.
