Well, the only way for Austria to touch Russia in the current situation is to do the thing that actually we did this session: a fight for Poland -Russia defending, Austria attacking in this particular case. But you only got yourself to blame if you DOWed Poland only when they were already fighting, and then that wars were very short.

So its my fault poland agrees to my demands? That you can't control your vassal? That you sit and hypertech in russia, allied to super sweden? I tried desperately to get sweden to break and fight you.

The second dow on Poland was actually discussed with BLK. And I agreed to take out Prussia for galizien. That I infact had allready planned to vassalise prussia made it even better. A free prov, diplomacy wins the day again. Its 1 prov closer to russia... Next dow was 5 years away.

In the last sessions, Russia has regularly fought wars Devil. I guess not against the countries other nations could like me to fight, but I fought Poland; once they were vassals, I had fought for Poland.

And yep, the behavior of my vassal was extremely annoying for Russia (DOWing alone, all fine; accepting demands before talking with allies, not that fine). Unfortunately, I can't actually control him like a real vassal.

So discussed was the DOW that they called allies? Because if that is true, I actually will break vassalage and annex all Poland if I can.

Russia moved troops from the war with the OE to help Poland (and moved our reserve army in Moscow too) -I believe I moved my main army there. Before they could be able to cross the border, Poland peaced out. I hope that Poland did not discussed the war with Austria, because if not a nice offensive in Anatolia was stopped without any reason.

Nevermind the fact that I stated that I didn't want the deal unless you attacked Prussia first. I also see you ignored the part where you responeded with "Oh well, I'll just attack you and take it anway". Don't try to paint your opportunism as anything other then what it was.

Additionaly, given that you dowed right after Hive did, I would have told you to take that deal and shove it if I had more then a miscule chance of winning against both you AND Hive.

England has not hyper teched. I have fought plenty of wars and by the end of next session will only have maxed out Land and Naval tech. I have funded Prussia massively, given a large amount to Austria, a fair amount to France and some to Poland. I have fought in the far north and bled in the Old World and the far east. Sure I haven't fought France much (Once, this session) but what was I supposed to when Calais was gone. Fight him in Europe when peter has not done anything at all to provoke me? Spain, I could have fought a little more, but I wanted a bigger and badder navy first.

So if you want random DoW next session, fine, I'll fight every one of you

Yeah well it was hard to know, what you really wanted. You certainly offered to give it to me, if I dowed prussia. Anyway I would have betrayed you soon after again, as I wanted my new vassal Prussia to win

Russia has not been warmongering (it is not easy to avoid being influenced by games playing Portugal). And it is true that the wars have been concentrated in a few countries, but Russia had fought wars. (And I think that from 1700 on I had fought a war every session, not that much but definitely better that my usual ways).

This is what Poland was up against....... in case anyone was wondering why I made peace, with Austria, so quickly.

The Army in Warsaw was quickly annhilated (along with my last leader). After that I made peace (for the reasons stated) and used my remaining reserves in Ukraine to fight Prussia.

Well, once the current war with the OE is finished, we will go back to the problem of how recover the ancient polish homeland for Poland.

I completely feel your pain. I have had many nights on unrest because of defeat or being pissed off at someone for something in-game.

Lately, I have trouble getting to sleep because I keep getting up to jot down an event/scenario idea I have and then I have to re-start my whole "fall asleep sequence"

I sincerly hope the whining about the hypertechers will stop a bit, since every country in the game has waged at least one war last session. Let's also continue that tradition for the last session.

That should prove to be fun. A french war wouldn't be bad, just to make sure who is the supreme nation. Not to forget the possible revenge Austria wants on OE. Austria certainly can get its hands on Russia now, but I fear sweden will ruin it, unless Prussia is played. Though that shouldn't stop one from trying.

Why is that funny? It's plain and simple: I wanted those 2 rich Polish provs with cloth (of which I had core on one of them), and decided to save Prussia and Memel for later. Actually, I didn't even plan on taking Memel, as I wanted to keep a core on Poland for later use.

I didn't enjoy it either. But since it's just you and me who feels this way, I have come to the conclusion that it is us who have a weird view on how the game should be played - since the majority play and think in a different way.
