I have a last minute unexpected problem guys and I am not going to make it for tonight.
I am really pissed off as I said that I would be available tonight..
Searching currently for a sub.

Since still it isn't 1800 GMT, it seems that you showed up a bit earlier (the session has not started yet)

I think that the best will be forget about this last two sessions and continue the game next saturday. To be precise, continue with the 1573 save.

Nevertheless, I want to thank to the subs for his participation and understanding.

Lets forget last 2 weeks game and continue with 1573 save, after all, this will be only a year "ingame".

And lets play on saturdays

And thanks for all the persons that were so kind as to sub in these two "ctdweeks".

And we still need a Netherlands them. Will ask in the forums how to edit it to give them 20 ships and 400 money, if all agree.

Heeeeeeres Johnny! ...erh, I mean Hive...

I can't play this sunday either because of work, but that's not a problem since you have decided for saturday instead... but I think that I'll need a sub for saturday in 2 weeks, and propably more in the future... saturday is my favorite 'party day'!

But the important thing is that I can play this saturday. Can u guys plz confirm that you can all play this saturday at 18:00 GMT? And I would also like to have clarification on this: did u really just play 1 year whilst I have been away? wow...

And have you found a player for the Netherlands yet? Maybe Damocles are interested? I'm pretty sure he's a good player.

Btw, I can easily edit the savegame with the changes for the Netherlands. I suggest that we give them the following:
400 ducats
20 warships, 10 transports
20k infantry (if they currently don't have a standing army)
4 merchants, 2 colonists, 1 diplomat

Well, first session we play (after many CTDs) 2 years. In the second session we started with the original savefile (so 1573 instead of 1575) and after several problems we only got to 1574 after 2-3 hours.

Since saturday has the 'party problem', I think that we should start earlier our games in saturday (allowing every player to go to whatever real life they got). But for this saturday, 1800 GMT.

And for Netherlands, I agree with the changes suggested by Hive.

Unfortunatly I cannot confirm saturday yet. I might be able to play or I might not. Saturday is really my fav. party day as well and sicne a good friend of mine comes to town I think i might be hanging out with him instead. I usually prefered Sunday since it's a day that I usually don't have anything to do anyway. If we permanently change to saturday I might have some serious trouble continuing our session.

saturday 13 gmt sounds perfect. netherlands should know everything spain knows for they were released by spain, but an explorer should be fine anyway.
i am really looking forward to continue and hope we can work this "dating"-problem out.

I disaproove this. I would like to point out, that eg. my own Venice has not had either a conquistador or an explorer yet, and I don't think nations like Austria and Sweden have had any either. So I think it would be unfair to artificially give that to the Netherlands. They will receive their historical ones when time comes.

Since most of us has problems with saturdays, how about fridays? I know that friday is a traditional 'party day' as well (although I personally prefer saturdays ), but what do you guys think? Or maybe we could choose an ordinary weekday like thursday?
