Yeah, I am sure that you could have found very funny to see Venice in flames. And no need to feel sorry to miss the first one, I am almost sure that in the future there will be others to Sweden to join.

I checked the latest save I got from arcorelli and seems that the AI that subbed for me was an honorable one. I am currently in a war with Spain and Austria versus France, Portugal and England.
AI did a very nice job and Sweden is in excellent shape. I'm sure it can contribute to restore peace in Europe.

Since definitely Ganja plays Spain in a very peaceful way (and definitely not in a treacherous one ) , maybe we could agree to the following:
1. It is prioritary when deciding next sessions, that Ganja can play and
2. Whenever a sub is needed in Spain, we should say to him that the permanent player is a most peaceful one, and that he prefers strongly to get his aims or objectives achieved without using the sword

We could play 4 centurys of peace and AI bashing if you want, but you have to admit that this war added a little fun (ok perhaps not for Hive but I waited that he smell the situation before war starts) and motivation (even Maestro want to come back
).Well this is only to say that I am not a blood-thirsty scum; if I were there would be no Venice now. And don't forget that France DoW me in the beginning of the game (and I was already at war with OE) because I didn't cede franche-comte right away... I was much more patient with Venice...

I really liked the war. Much, much fun! It didnt only increased Maestro´s motivation, but mine also, as I was loosing the will to play on. Now i cant expect for sunday 1200 GMT (or any other time you decide
You had the motives for going to war (and Red, as Spanish sub also). You two timed right your atack, when France was troubled by wars of religions and dindt had a very big army.
Actualy, a few years before (1574) I had even less (minus than 20k in France proper).
So, it was a very good move of you guys.
And yes, you destroyed my army in Napolis, but it was 6k desmoralizated french after a defeat to spanish army against 24k Austrian. So, that´s why the Royal King didnt consider it.
I also lose a battle to papist army in Piedmont in 1579. Dont know if there was Austrians in there also. But in 1581 we didnt fight, I was in Genoa when Venice peaced out and I did a fast retreat to avoid been surrounded by the 3 austrians armies.

Hive I was referring to what was said in this thread not in the AAR. I know that what is said in the AAR is part of an RPG-like scenario and it is not meant to express feelings for other people.
I was only bugged because Camisa qualified all players here as peaceful ones giving the feeling that I am a blood-thirsty warmonger. It is easy to say that someone is peaceful when playing Portugal, it's in his interest.
My decisions in the game looks more like acts who would happen at those times giving the circumstances and the political situations, rather than influenced by personal relations between players. The proof is that I allied with a sub which is a great risk as Ganja has the right to not continue the Spain sub's diplomatic policy letting Austria isolated.
Anyway, as you see in the AAR, I fully agree to spice the diplomatic exchanges but this has nothing to do with the opinion I have for you people

I liked the war too and besides I agree with Camisa that the moment was well chosen.
My 'Ganja proposal' was because he is very contrary to war (he had not liked the two times that Spain has been in war when he had not played).

With you playing Austria and Maestro Sweden (as he also stated no interest in going anexing germany lands, except in the baltic area), I am sure that we will still see the german principalities for many time.

Yeah I agree that Ganja perhaps did not liked that Spain is involved in war, but when someone is not here we have to deal with the sub and we have to deal with the sincerity of the sub concerning his actions to be the best for his country. And we all agree I think that RedPhoenix is an experienced player.

Well, Spain was not simply 'allied' to Venice. Claiming Naples and Rousillon is not simply an answer to your allies. This austrian propaganda even in the discussion thread
