And those event are badly scripted, and really do not come near the thruth, the thruth is that Spain didn't invest in her home economy anymore, and ONLY used gold, thats why she bancrupted, with the low gold values.

The point is : you pretend at the same time to have given something to Venice, Neth, Porto when you speak to them, and to be completely innocent of their actions when you speak to other countries.

This double language is simply not acceptable : either you gave sth to Venice and Neth to hamper England and Sweden colonization in NA and you have to assume it, or you gave nothing, and then don't pretend you have been kind with them.

Although, what now really, really amazes me: England did nothing but colonize AFAIK, and they are only colonized the eastern NA coast? And we are in 1590's? (well that, and their unfortunate SA colonies).

We have had no conquistadors.

And with Spain's aggressive "gifts" to Netherlands and Venice, it's unlikely that England will ever get more than what you see now...

Allso its interesting that every nation with small colonial owning are evil and greedy but Spain the one with colonial empire large as than all other together is just modest, virtuous and overly generous by letting those nations take the small areas they have.

It just happens Spain forces all other colonial nation in small areas and pushes them to fight eatch other while Spain can only watch and laught behind them with luxury of helping one he things that at the moment needs help so nobody wont ever come thread to Spain in colonies.

So realy Spain is offering actually only realy sharp two edged sword thats not any real friendship or wealth just position to become another spanish vasal to see the truth one has only to look how Spain claims and Portugal allready admits being spanish vasal.

France OTOH, is very strong, even without colonies, yet you still have many from what I can tell from Porto's concerns.

France is far from being strong France is at best medium power only the realy able french military comand has carried it even this far and prevented France not coming minor. France is light year behind Spain in tech and income cap that will only grow as time passes.

Only hope for France even to stay at somehow along and not to drop on stoneage is its colonies as they are only thing that may prevent it. And its realy interesting way to say Spain need colonies well Portugal, Holland, England, Sweden, Venice and so on all needs colonies to become glorious nations its not just Spain.

This just proves it more that Spain will never be happy what is has first monopolicing SA now they go after more land in NA. Only question is what and from who they will next take land from? Maybe they will finally decide England is no thread any more and cancel Venice rights in SA or maybe they just let the others fight among themself after Spain received what it wanted and enjoy the show .
