Declaration of Free Trade
The King Of Portugal , aware of its enourmous responsibility, Herby officially declaires that his COT's will ALWAYS be open for friendly merchants. In this way foreign nations know for sure that those cots will be open, while in foreign hands with every war/insult they might need to buy there way in to a cot. Only exception is if a nation WARS for one of porto's cots, he will be considered as a enemy. NOTE that this means porto will not close its cots in a normal war.

Well if you ever then want any France colonies you know where Paris is wellcome to get never again will anything be given to Portugal without that. Like France would give away its only few colonies it obvious Portugal has no intention to honor its treaty with France even that it still hasnt discovered what it demands so just occupation of France colonies will never make them part of Portugal that mutch he has angried the people of France.'
Edit: Allso spanish map didnt give me access to indonesia only made possible to skip exploring around africa that helped immensily yes but realy Iam so tired of you whining and threads that I simply will have only one goal from now on burn Lissabon if I have to spend 20 years in war with Spain to get MA I will do it and come to say hello for king of Portugal.

What really amazes the good old emperor about this colonial situation is that no one has tried to conquer some land there? Is cheaper than colonize, there are a lot of really good provinces there (Southern India can be really, really rich for plutocratic and naval nations). And for people with low census taxes, they can really be a bones.

Treaty of free trade thats just another lie of Portugal who just try to mask hes greedy and deceitfullness well no more will France take any word of king of Portugal to be trusted its obvious they will never be happy what they have. There will just be demand after demand if somebody is stupid enought yo give in for it.
Its sad king of France was once stupid enought to give in greedy demands of king of Portugal earlier but then only now the truth has come out what king of Portugal truly is never satisfied to what he has or never to be trusted keep a treaty he makes.

An offer has been sent for king of Spain he can decide to accept or denie it depending if he wants to spend thousands and thousands of ducats to protect the king of Portugal.

Nice to see the French king will use anything as an excuse to devide the iberian world. We made a threaty with the French wich gave them rights of colonising on land WE claim. The words of me earlier :

Well, I think people can post their own maps if they want to do it, but they don't post general maps. And remember that this maps lost value every single year (since people has not stopped to colonize).
Although, what now really, really amazes me: England did nothing but colonize AFAIK, and they are only colonized the eastern NA coast? And we are in 1590's? (well that, and their unfortunate SA colonies).
The european map should show too how wise and good is the Austrian emperor. Southern germany is still ruled by their own sovereigns. There is still Bavaria, Pfalz, Wuttemberg and others. Almost all remaining german electors are under the protection of the good archduke (although Koln and Baden are still completely autonomous, a situation that we hope can continue)

Adam's maps speak for themselves : We are 6 nations in NA, with Spain having pushed Venice and Netherlands in an "indian reserve" to block England and Sweden colonization of central NA, while SA is nearly completely Spanish/ Portuguese, and Asia and Africa are claimed by Porto !
BTW, I, for sure, had never received any money from Spain, quite the contrary, because Spain purposely blocks my expansion in NA without any previous provocation from Sweden.

And mercifull and modest Spain who still happens to own alone largest part of NA himself you know NA too is something else than east coast only add to that caribian, centrall america (yes we know the gold to avoid events) and most of South america truly Spain has shown nothing but good will and just been merchifully let others take small parts to divide colonies equally

Oh yes,
Spain is NOTHING without colonies, she is NOTHING.
France OTOH, is very strong, even without colonies, yet you still have many from what I can tell from Porto's concerns.
And those event are badly scripted, and really do not come near the thruth, the thruth is that Spain didn't invest in her home economy anymore, and ONLY used gold, thats why she bancrupted, with the low gold values.
I have invested a lot in my home economy, and will even more so in the next session.
