And I couldnt even be in land 14 had I set allresearch for it and you could be in land 18 now but instead you invest thing like Infra and Trade to make more money and be able to research even more quicker.

As you dont invest in all Spain has naval 10 you invest thing that truly allow hyperteching Trade and Infra you aimed as quickly as possible for infra 5 to get governors and no go for high trade to get humongous trade income but thats not hyper teching. Now as this is in no way frowned I have to follow you or be completely come second rate power so yes I aim for what you aim with less resources.

Allso I didnt know its hyperteching to win wars when even being crt behind .

It is due to the active diplomatic services of France and Austria that this thread got some movement. It is certainly not our fault if the king of England got nothing to say about anything. There is nothing that England wants to claim? no country that they want to support? nothing to brag? nothing to ask help of other countries?

@Rezag. Austria is as poor as you (and with even less trade) and I got infra 4 and I will hit LT 14 in a year (at most in 2). And our inflations are not that different after all (or our casualties). You had invested in colonies (Austria obviously not), but that was a choice you made (go for infra/LT or use money in colonies), so you got nothing to complain about it.

When you are a CRT Behind you are usually hyperteching, expecially if you are 3 techs behind.

And Counter reform and +7 RR is your own choice.

If the outcome of that choice was unfortunate, you still decided to invest money (a fair amount I guess) in them.

Counter reform was your choice dear king. No idea why fanatics rule in France. Yep the RR is quite nasty, but even with that you still got better income than Austria.

The thing is with all the disadvantages you are still able to defeat -and very clearly- Spain. And the future should be indeed better, you got exactly the kind of ally you need: a rich and naval nation.

Cologne is disputed territory. Brandenburg will protect these German states if Holland decides to invade them.

People simply loves to see whatever not is being said. Any possible dutch expansion in Germany simply don't need to be in Brandenburg sphere of influence.

Regarding spheres of influence: Austria acknowledges the claims of Brandenburg with the only exception of Koln. A catholic province south of the Rhin is not clear why should be under Brandenburg overlordship.

We could prefer if Brandenburg decides to rule over germans under indirect rule (vassals instead of annexation). Although that decision is clearly to the Elector to make, the preferences of the archduke regarding the continued existence of the electors are clear.
