You rightfully put that sweden didnt ask for edits and that is because i have a personal policy that to much editing is very bad for gameplay. Provinces are the max in my eyes (yes , inflation is OVER it, but i see no one would take poland if not decreased and i favour fun over power ). So even though i consider England a friend, off the game playerwise i see that kind of edits not done (should have gotten a SUB if you didnt want it, if you didnt, dont cry except hope that Chain will move your fleet to harbor)

He did have a lot of saved up money beforehand. If AI built wrong manus I will edit it to the correct ones, according to SGA's wishes. Had it been a sub instead of the AI I would probably not have edited different manus though.

Ships I will most likely not replace as I said.

Any chance to get an updated list on who plays who? Would sort of help the diplomatic efforts, if I hadn't have to put effort in getting in contact with somebody who isn't even in the game anymore

Well... Actually, iirc, I was told before the session that a sub was found and I saw later to my dismay that there was no sub and that the ai was ruling. I've always considered edits a bad thing in general as well, but since we had a Spain complaining about lost tax income from an ai period earlier on, i found my issues just as (ir)relevant. If nobody gets edits, well fine, but when everybody is crying for compensation these days why shouldn't England? [/bitching]

Besides with myself running the armies and fleets for Spain one might wonder, taking into account what happened in the waters outside Holland in that Wednesday Nappy practice game o , if this really is not an unter-alliance

As SPA has left POR without any ally we will, as a token of our friendship with our POR brothers, proclaim a formal guarantee of their independence at the start of the game.

This guarantee aims at all nations in the game, no one excepted.

However, actions based upon it will only be initiated if POR so desires and until they have reached an alliance position that they find satisfactory.

I will play according to the game feature, i.e. it becomes activated if anyone attacks POR. I am not a kind of big musculary friend who lets his little companion beat up other boys while he is standing smiling at the side

He (Flamey) in fact got one extra colonist, and BB reduction only for reannexation.

Well I talked to KINGBEN in ICQ, and I said "we start in exactly three hours"... So he should have got correct time.

Although I have no experience I have read a lot about the lag phenomen.

I assume that exploiting this, as in lag merchants, is not permitted.

Lag merchants are not as possible nowadays as they used to (Johan coded some limit and they are mostly functionless even if you succeed in sending more than you have).

Only real common lag thingy that I know about nowadays is to send multiple diplomatic errands on the same date. This both removes the waiting time, and you can send more diplomats than you have (most usually if you're low on diplos since you quickly reach 0). It's not something I will butcher people for if they use though, and I can't really control it; the few times it's applicable. (It also has less effects than lag colonization or lag merchants.)

Though, it is forbidden of course.
