I wouldnt had got -3 stab in the first place

Hard not to get at -3 stab when you have to break a vassalization in order to dow.
It is also hard to keep Mexico when you're facing Cortez and the ToT.
It is also hard to force Spain to such a peace whenyou don't have a fleet big enough to prevent them from landing anywhere they want.

I thought Flamey wouldn't accept a much harder peace easily, though it would have been possible to force such a peace in the end.


BTW how did you expect France to keep Mexico with the ToT in effect and Cortez fighting in that area?

What would Austria have from releasing Netherlands? They won't remain vassalized for long, everybody would encourage them to break vassalization and support them in eventual fight with Austria...

Its not hard to kill the Netherlands. I wouldn't really want Holland running around in brazil and Indonesia and I'm sure the same for Spain. Who says all countries want a Netherlands?

Not much but some games enforce a release of the Netherlands. We don't have anything of a rule on this now, but there was some talk about introducing Holland but nothing definate. I'd like to have it cleared out what happens with them before someone is suprised that they are forced to form/not forced to form

Yes, I know. But still, when one country has to loose notable part of its country (more that it is most profitable part...), it's bit, uh..don't know the right word.

I'd be ok when OE releases Hungay, France it's Italian possesions and so on...

I would ask our Sultan if my neighbour Moldova will keep on being his vassal.
Maybe Poland could discuss about a money incentive (only a declaration of interest there).

That vassal gives me more than 1% research cost and 1% stability reduction so I doubt you could pay for the total costs over 100 years...

King of Poland

This session gives a period of peace with every neighbour (0 wars); so the King could have a step in DP: naval tech, centralization step, 2 manus and new fortresses. Lithuania broke its vassalization after a refused attempt of annexion, but mantains the MA with us.
Many things changed in Europe: the strong Sultan occupies Hungary vs Austria (that annexed Bohemia) and the new Russia reached Astrakhan. We have humans' vassals on the western border as Saxony (Austria) and BB, Pommern and TO (Sweden); no chance of expansion in next years and the exploration (and so, the colonization) never started for Poland.

You get to choose which province to transfer for free if you only decide to transfer one province to save yourselves from stab hits. You do not get to decide what country will be stab hit if you transfer two provinces, because then you both get -1 each.
