This thread is a temporary back up for the languish game Europe Resurrectalis, now languish is down.

Those adopted to the Languish atmosphere: Please keep in mind especially the following forum rule before posting here:

"You will not use expressions that are considered foul, vulgar, sexually harassing, racially offensive or in any way discriminatory. These expressions include, but are not limited to, ethnic slurs, hate speech and religious epithets. Whether an expression fits under this definition will be determined by Paradox staff at the time."

Because Slargos has not told us what decision he has made and he seems to be offline now and gone till shortly before session start, we might want to make some decisions here as a group. And do the necessary edits.

1. The Poland issue. I am going to assume this won't change, and it won't be fair towards Tonio if it would. So Poland keeps Latin tech if the event has fired. (I am not sure when it does).

2. The Spanish gold mines. I believe consensus has be reached on that we will give an inflation penalty to everyone owning mines in 1580. The event won't fire next session anyway, so it's not necessary to do edits.

3. The Dutch. IMO Damo either has to choose between staying Holland till 1559, after which the event will fire. Then he can get an additional cookie of some warships and a starting treasure. Or he chooses for the event Hive has proposed. There was heavy opposition against Slargos' proposal to create the Dutch now already with cookies and tech changes, so this won't happen.

4. Austria's compensation. Hive has made a calculation at languish and if I remember correctly, he reached a number between 2500d and 3000d. I propose 500d to Austria now and then a similiar sum after each session, till the total has been reached.

5. Anything I forgot?

3. I do think the four provinces should be united and Holland given 500 ducats, assuming Damo will play under those circumstances. He needs to confirm this.

4. I think 3K spread over three sessions is fair, but invested in tech, not given as cash.

your proposals are all fine with me. Austria does get census from the Dutch provinces as well though, but I am fine with skipping that for now. Let's put 500d in infra tech right now then. (This session was quite short, hence only 500d to start with).

Sure.

I'd originally proposed giving Austria 1K split over two sessions, as compensation for census as well as the intangibles lost. I'm fine with that, but as I recall most thought it a bit overboard.

Languish is, according to Slargos, having DNS problems. To get Languish working, type in the Languish IP into your 'hosts' file in windows\system32\drivers\etc

So that it will look like this:

127.0.0.1       localhost
[B]64.81.116.191	languish.org[/B]

Then restart your browser and it will work.
