Europe Divided, large MP game, discussion thread

Playing times for this game will be afternoon european time(around 4pm CET, give or take), morning USA time, during weekdays ( propably / possibly weekends too). Play times will be such that both european and american players can take part.

We will have long sessions, a few times a week.

The map for this campaign will be a modified version of Peter Ebbesens new creation(1520)(thank you for the hard work peter)

The game will be one where roleplaying is encouraged, and all key nation positions will be filled by roleplaying minded players so hopefully we will not see gamey play here. There will not be strict rules about this, but anyone who takes part in this game will be expected to roleplay their position as much as they can.

Papal States
Bavaria
The Palatinate

Genova

Persian culture provinces will not be allowed to be annexed atleast intially.

(added) I will decide who plays what nation, but please do post a list of your top 5 nations you would like to play the most, I will take that into consideration thanks.

Thank you for BIB for being the first to consider these edits later, I must admit they are something I want to add my self too.

- France will receive core shields on the France-Comté and Lorraine in the Chambers of Réunion event.
- When Sweden gets the Svealand COT, the Sjaelland one will be removed.
- In the eventuality of a Spanish succession war Austria will receive core shields on the Spanish Netherlands/Italy possessions.

In addition, when first african player COT is formed, timbuktu cot will be removed. Whatever the nation. Same for Cuzco in south america, if a mainland south american cot forms. Also applies to Delhi cot, when an Indian player cot is formed.

Well, not sure wich nation, but i think a naval, western one would be nice, as im about to have enough of Eastern Europe .

Since we have 5 possible electors (if we give bavaria their vote a bit early and let Austria have the Bohemian vote from the beginning), couldn't we do the HRE elections for real? With save game edit if we vote someone else than the game engine does?

Will all the electors be played? Don't some countries like Pommern and Mecklenburg get a vote?

Personally, I think it'd be really cool to have a game with like 5 or 6 HRE nations dedicated to playing historically. It would make the introduction of protestantism alot more interesting.

The 7 historical electors were: cologne, mainz, trier, palatine, saxony, brandenburg and bohemia. I think palatine, saxony, bavaria, brandenburg and austria is close enough.

Later bavaria, hannover and hessen were added. Actually it was a bit more complicated than that but that doesn't really matter here I think .
