~meh, I don't like these pre-order boni stuff, plus full prize for a digital-only copy ... that'll take some careful considering ^^
But, well, glad to see release is near =)

Yes, but that's what the two other grand strategy series (Civ and Total War) said when they made Steam mandatory for Civ5 and Empire respectively. Those games did not give me the kind of experience that would make me rejoice at Paradox finally taking a similar route.
The printed manual is strictly a personal preference and I have enough old ones to read on long train rides.I do hope they make an effort on manual quality for their flagship game. They peaked with the excellent HoI2 and EU3 manuals, but I think the CK2 one was the worst since the manual for the original Vicky.
Having said all that, I'm still delighted with the announcement and have every hope for another glorious game. My question concerned two personal pet peeves, and I did not mean to sour the mood by dwelling on them.
This might sound stupid, but if I get the deluxe edition, do I also get the 100 years war unit pack?
Quick questions:
- Whats in the 'Star and Crescent DLC'? Doesn't seem to say anywhere.
- How does pre-ordering on GG mesh with the 'steam-only' policy that the Devs have made very clear to us?
- If we miss the June Pre-order deadline, do we have the option of paying for the June bonus?
