I always raise a Bug Report, then link it here with a summary of the issue. I consider the Bug Report forum the master place, and here is more for discussion. Either way, having it in both places ensures it's seen by both users and dev/QA, and that it's less likely to end up in a duplicated bug report.

I don't recall reading your specific issue so I don't know what details are relevant to include for it, but in general: try to include steps to easily re-create it in a new game - if that's possible - e.g. from a bookmark start. And, if it's always re-creatable using a specific save you have, upload that save (RAR'd). The more detail the better - bullet points, screenshots, etc.

Overall feeling it is stable, 1490, no hiccups.

I agree. My mod is pretty intensive with regard to resources and the observer game I started when the update came out is 100 years in with no issues, no lag. Have to wait until I get home to play and see if the coalition bug is finally squashed. :)

I am having trouble getting the correct checksum. I even did a full reinstall of EUIV as recommended by Tech Support. I just opted into beta today. My version says 1.4.1.9 (8131). I have verified the cache also. Before this I was playing the last OFFICIAL patch 1.4.1 hotfix.

I just want to get this fixed before I start reporting any bugs or other issues.

Also is there away to revert to Official patch?

Change your Betas dropdown to the top option, "OPT OUT of betas" or similarly named.

Not seen any new crashes so far, and the specific instances of crashes from the previous few builds are all now working.

Is the supporting independence popup fixed? It indicates the other way of giving support - e.g. if sweden supports mazovia or sth it says "mazovia entered a blablabla pact with our subject of Sweden"

Yes that's fixed.

Finally got time for some playing, and this is fun.:wub:

-Countries actually try to declare independence sometimes
-Naval combat can actually be destructive (hint: retreat if you are losing!)
-AI are showing signs of intelligence regarding Scorched Earth. Larger army on the way towards my army, I scorch earth and they pick another target and siege instead... new behavior.

edit: forgot what I was going to ask about: has the bug with supporters of independence wars been fixed?
(If you called in supporters in your independence wars, they could make separate peace (as usual) and that would end the war (not usual...). Thus making it foolish to actually call in supporter-allies if you wanted to get independence.)

Well, I've upgraded from 1.4.1.6 to 1.4.1.9. I now have an incredibly annoying background noise, sounds like static. It starts as soon as the loading screen is done and I'm on the main menu, and continues from thereon. Both with and without music. I'm using Linux, which is probably relevant.

WTF... the game is using 100% CPU when paused. I knew I should have backed up 1.4.1.6 but I was too lazy...

Paradox, if you want to do me a big favour, please have the 1.4.1.6 beta option on Steam provide the working-perfectly 1.4.1.6, rather than the introduced-many-CTDs 1.4.1.6b.

OK, this is really weird. Graphics are working fine in the old world, but really laggy and jerky in the (non-random) new world.

However, it's also happening with 1.4.1.0, so must be due to my graphics driver update.
