And reminds me of money well spent. Okay, maybe not well spent, but money that has gone to make my EUIV experience much, much prettier.


And are the Persian camels not part of the Crescent pack? I figured they would've been, but awesome if it means everyone out there has a chance to see camels.

However, seems that Camels are used by Mameluks in my game, and Persia instead have only normal muslim cavalry, what could be the reason? At 1444 Mamelks are using the level 3 Persian Camel.

Maybe something changed? How? Who use now the moderls shown in the open post?

(Also, I heard that Egypt tag will be added with WoN, the Mameluks cavalary skin will be shared with egypt?)

Actually, it would appear that the Camels are part of the DLC, they're just not shown on this page (but are in the thread for the Crescent DLC specifically).

Oh well, they're super awesome. I'm always happy to see them in my games... not counting the part I'm usually crushing Persia rather than playing as them.
 
But actually seems that something changed. In the topic is said that Camels are for Persia, but in game actually a Camel models is for Mameluks, and seems that Persia use a standard model (if I remember correctly.) So, there is a place where I can read if they changed something about this models? Who use what?
 
We actually patched the Horsemen of the Crescent after recieving feedback from the community. The Persians and Ottomans use horses and the Mamluks ride Camels. Sorry for the confusion, added this info in the other threads as well.

Thank you, I was just curious about how the thing changed. :)
If in future an update image of the models will be posted, I will be curious of watch it, becouse you are doing a good work with the models of EUIV and are cool to see in detail. ;)
 
I am very glad that they changed it because if you go with logic in to it, that it is very clear that there are no larger numbers of camels within Iran ;) in opposite to Arabia, Lybia and parts of Egypt.
 
All of it superbly done, thanks. In particular, the 100 years' war units look magnificent in-game. Although I see england's unit here with the flag of St. George rather than the Plantaganet one (for clear enough reasons). Yea, I think I'd like that image to be a framed pic on me wall, I like it that much.

Bloody nice work and pretty please with some balkan units. :)

Because (for now) this thread only to show unique sprite available through download while Portugal's and Venice's sprites already available in base game...

You are right, for example I remember the model of Ayutthaya.
Instead I never noticed the sprites of Venice and Portugal becouse are not so different from the others (are the middle-late sprite models right?) and the 1444 sprite of Venice and Portugal is the same of the other european nation, so I never noticed.

Can I propose to post here also the sprite already in the game?
Could be cool, to take a look to the unit, with the knowledge about what to look, becouse sometimes playing you zoom in and out, without notice something like these. :)

EDIT: However I think that in future there could be space to give to Venice and Portugal totally new refined sprites (Genoa now seems to be much better, Venice can't compete :p), I think this could be a cool Merchant nations unit pack, with Netherlands and oman.

I agree - Venice and Portugal (I'd put the emphasis on Venice, since Portugal already has some neat looking stuff) both could use actually distinctive looking sprites, rather than the vanilla model re skins they currently have...

I for one would certainly pay to see new units made for "merchant nations 2" - Venice, Portugal, Ragusa, Netherlands, and Tuscany (Lest we forget that after the rise of the Ottomans, it was the Tuscans, and not the Venetians who were the primary direct traders with the Ottomans)

(Though honestly, I want to maximize my chances of getting barbute helmets in any particular pack, particularly for Italian states...)
 
+1 for a Trade pack II. Also, why no Indian advisors portraits? since India has new events and the deity system now. Is there one on the way? I was planning on playing a Indian nation first but I think I'll wait and play Genoa or Venice instead.
Love the work you do paradox south! Always a must buy with me.
I know it's not your department but some new songs would be nice with the Indian portraits ;) I really enjoyed the CK2 ROI ones.
