Wow, simply amazing.

Having vassals attach their small armies with larger armies has given me a great smile, one thing i always hated about keeping many vassals was when going to war having them send 1k troops to their death constantly.

Question: Say i am playing England, end up in a war with France and i have 3 Irish vassals, when they ship their 1k/2k troops over will they aim to land on the same provinces and attach? as obviously they can't just walk to the largest friendly army around when crossing the sea is involved.

It would be nice if we could get a warning before reaching cancel threshold. Like

"My lord! There are rumours tha Austria will cancel royal marriage with us if our relations won't improve!" triggered somwhere halfway between acceptance and cancel :)

+1
this seems like a good idea. especially appreciated by players who wanna play meticulous diplomatic games.

I'm really liking the ability to improve AI skill and keep them on par with you in terms of modifiers. Thats one annoyance I've had about Pdox games in the past, the hard AI just got more money and men to throw at you over using better tactics and diplomacy.

2) All land units move at the same speed in EU4.

Wow, really?
I guess using artillery is actually going to be a thing now!

In the interview says HRE can't be formed in EU4, does that mean the last reform is removed?

This was in the context of the converter. They meant that if you import a CK2 game that has no HRE, EUIV has no mechanic to bring it into existence.

Just get rid of the ministacks and make the AI care more about it's investments. In previous games the AI sends navies, which can cost a lot, to block your ports in really small stacks so you can just whack a mole.

It was, but I never used it. Because of the 75% speed, it made it a lot more complicated to wipe low-morale stacks after beating them once.
While I'm sure other players did use them, I don't think I was the only one to make that decision either.

It's good to see that peace treaties can contain concessions to your allies. One of my biggest irritations with EUIII was that if I was in a war where one of my AI allies was the war leader, I could conquer the enemy nation while the war leader did nothing, and still the AI enemy would not be willing to make concessions to me to get a separate peace, nor would the war leader give me any rewards for winning its war for it. This meant that there was no reason not to immediately peace out of any war you were not leading if you got the chance. Conversely, since giving provinces to an ally in a peace deal raised your infamy as much as taking provinces yourself, there was generally no reason to do this.

In the EUIV system, will an AI war leader give part of the spoils of victory to a player ally (supposing the player ally has made contributions to the war such as occupying enemy provinces at the time of the peace) and is it reasonable to give an AI ally provinces without being considered "aggressively expanding" because you did so?

(And then of course there was the scenario where France would go to war with England, take Calais, and then there would be a stalemate... and they would peace out by England giving independence to Northumberland or Cornwall!!! Hope that's been fixed.)

Meh. Just separate the artillery out of your stack after it wins the first battle, and reintegrate the artillery into your stack when it's finished pursuing.

does this intelligence also apply to covert actions? the AI in EU3 would constantly support rebels in my land and i'd crush the rebels then conquer them , i'd reducethem to 1 province and they'd STILL do it

Wow I have to say that I like it, and most the "Coalitions" part.
Now just waiting for a demo to if i'm going to buy it. :)
I only want to see how it will perform on my PC, will it lagg hard and such.
