Where's Poland?
I wonder if we still get some DDs about actual new game features - country specific ones feel just like a filler.
I don't know if they got much more to reveal. It feels like they have been pretty open early on about the major changes to the fourth iteration.
I don't mean this in a negative way at all but, why are people always asking about Poland? Are there a lot of people from Poland on the forums or is it just a favorite nation similar to how people like Byzantium?

There's quite a few Polish posters, and it was quite significant 2nd tier country in the period, on par with say Sweden (long discussion on this can be found here
). It's definitely not a country with a huge fanbase like Byzantium, quite the opposite I think, as average people are not familiar with it's history (other than 'partitions').
Aragon doesn't seems to be very best nation, when you look at their NI's...
Thou 10% bonus to taxes, and 10% galley power, early on, is quite nice. With their NI to discount on galley cost, they might be quite competitive in med. And Mercenary discount, might be helpfull, if mercs will be done better than in EU3.

There are a lot of ahistorical national ideas. They represent what could have happened or should have happened if those nations' leaders were more successful.
You keep your set of National Ideas when your country becomes another - So if Castille forms Spain, it has those NIs. If Aragon does it, it has those.
Wooo, Korean Turtle Ships get their own NI! Now if only PI would give them their own graphics, so we can watch them storm the Japanese in delight.
Happy to see Aragon starting in PU with Naples (aside from the flavor gave to both of them!).
Hopefully being united will ensure both nations are playable without knowing Castille will eat both of them in no time.

1444, poland was first tier nation. Until patritions, which are near end of timeframe(and imo game should end 1750 but w/e), poland was still either first tier, or among nations that were near to first tier. Only nowadays, poland is counted as second tier nations. But even now, poland was for a period, one of 20 wealthiest nations(So it is not like poland cannot become 1st tier anymore - history is unpredictable - china was once empire, then declined - now it is going to be empire again - same goes for few others - and i don't say it will nessecarily happen, i think it is unlikely right now).
From 1444 to 1700 i count poland(actualy poland-lithuania) as first tier(Sobieski defeated ottoman army under gates of vienna... and poland was military power). Later on it declined, because kings were just bad, or were actively acting against commonwealth interests(like Stanisław II Poniatowski (hereby i give him the titles : the Last and the Traitor)). Also, there were the polish succesion wars, that totaly destroyed whole commonwealth economy, and left poland with no real army, and being sphere of forgein interest, rather than independant country.
Polish history much resembles history of china when you think about it(rebelions, tatered the country, then forgein powers divided it between themselves anyone?)
Probably in one of graphical DLCs.
And I would totally drop a couple bucks for it.
whats funny iwanow is last I checked Poland is the only(or one of the few) countries in Europe's who's economy is still growing.
And then the numbering of Naples' ideas looks odd compared to the others... Having a bad day with your fingers not obeying your brain? I hate it when that happens to me!
