Ugh... I need to get busy: I have only completed 1 CG and started 2 others (seriously that is) and have played around with the IGC (you fellows make playing minors sound almost eazy )... BUT I am so excited at the prospect at the additions EU2 is planning.

Funny note.. after a few days of playing the game I thought to myself, "Wow, another 50 years in each direction would really hit the spot." Ask and ye shall recieve. (I know that's not exactly the new time frame, but heck tis close enough)

Well, I await any new information about the new game... WOO-HOO!

wha? 40 bucks too much for EU2? I swear to God, I'd cash out a hundred bucks to play the game right now 6 months is too long a wait...

I paid only 50 guilders for EU (abt. 20 bucks) but I wouldn't mind shelling out more for EUII. Despite some minor (to me) faults, it was (and still is) a great game. I have no doubts whatsoever that Kulan, Johan, Greven, et al. will make EUII even greater.

EU2? So fast? WOW!

My 2 cents:
1- This is more than a pacth, more than an add-on and more than I expected, so if somebody doesn't like it....go and play some console crap!
2- I don't frigging care about graphics, only about gameplay and features, so if somebody doesn't like it....go and play some console crap!
3- Paradox have earned my respect, for not dumbing down EU to please the casual gamers, who seems to be target of every single developer company out there. Actualy, it looks like EU2 is going to be even more complex, so Thanks, Paradox, and keep it up! ................... ......., and if somebody doesn't like it....go and play some console crap!

Yes, it looks a bit more like an expansion pack than a new game. But I haven't seen the final product yet, so I'll wait.

It reminds me of Dungeon Keeper 2, basically the same game as the one with a few modifications. Not totally an expansion, but not totally new stuff for another game.

Rodney, are you the yokel who was so into the "if you don't like the game crashing get a console game" answer a month or so ago? If so may I suggest moving the slider a bit from the "fascism" setting towards the "democracy" setting. That's where people are allowed to have an opinion. Cool idea, huh?

So EUII Will be a stand alone game or will you need EUI to play?

Also just think what Darkdoom and Hartman will be able to create...EUII IGC ...That will be possible with EUII right?

Who knows, they may even be able to chip in on EU II so there will be no need for an IGC II. Interesting thought...
