Conflict between Catholics and Huguenots will last until 1598, with the proclamation of the Edict of Nantes, proclaiming freedom of cults. Very popular, Henri IV will be assassinated by a fanatical and mad man in 1610.

I think that the War of the Three Henri (Henri III, Henri of Guise and Henri of Navarre) would be interesting to decide on what side France will fall in case of war between protestant England and Catholic Spain. Henri de Guise, in his fanatical war against the Protestants, will certainly ally with Spain; Henri de Navarre, if he doesn't renounce to his religion, will certainly ally, or support, England...I think you should consider civil war events in France.

In my opinion, the map of Germany should look like that:

Less monoprovincial minors, and more accurate. Removed 'Magdeburg' as a country because it was not even in the Magdeburg province, and placing it there would reduce Brandenburg to a 2 provinces minor.

Welfsomething land is Hannover,
Stuttgart replaced to Wurtemberg, Freiburg to Baden. Austria got border fixed, Poland lost Oppeln because Silesia was not cutted in two by the Oder in that time.

-Batavia: was build in the early 1600's.
-Berlin: nothing interesting over there in 1580, and im 95% sure than there is no paintings of it. If I would you I would set the province to Forest.
-Kazan: same as Berlin, the Kazan Khanate don't exist anymore and the city lost its political importance.
-Barcelona: A great city but still not as important as it is today.
-Bombay was a tiny city before the British arrived in the late 1600's.
-Madras: similar to Bombay.
-Shangai: became important in the 1850's.
-Tokyo: the Edo period in Japan begun in 1603, before it wasnt important that much.

I can agree with you about Batavia, Barselona, Bombay, Madras,
Shanghai and Tokyo.

But let's keep Berlin urban in order to have Brandenburg safer.
Kazan although lost its political importance but still retain its great
economical value, should be urban, I suppose. Must be 2nd biggest
city in Russia under Ivan the Terrible.

Grant.. I think it would be very useful if you took a look at db/provinces and removes urban from f.ex Berlin and such

I am editing provinces. But we are not going to deprive Berlin of its
urban status. Would be to easy for Poland to get rid of her weak and

Let's have generic pics for each trait, not for every leader. Just like
Paradox made for Victoria. That system looks nice.
