Gawd I am tired today...we should try and end it a bit earlier next time or I am going to die every wednesday morning.... :wacko:
Yes it was really nice once we got going and it seems like we have a nice little group.
Maybe put together an AAR on the game?

Big events in the eye of the reichskansler
* Rhineland was occupied after French complaints about the wardemonstrations in Köln. Even though the french PM asked for the demonstrations to stop he later denied that and used this as an excuse to gear up the war-economy.
* An alliance was signed with Japan who without consulting the fuhrer let their puppet Manchuko come into the alliance. This caused the german foreignminister Seurcrautz (wrongly spelled since i do not remember his name) to write a letter of complaint to his japanese counterpart. Due to some translationproblems the japanese thought this to be a declaration of war and chaos ensued. Manchuko sided with germany in the conflict and since news of the conflict did not reach Berlin until Harbin was conquered Germany decided to accept the white peace. Tojo has now hired a new translator after understanding the whole things as a missunderstanding. (Warum does not mean war

)
* A pact of mutual aid was signed with Italy and its puppet Somalia. Mutual aid is however somehow missgiving since the aid is just one-sided so far.
* The spanish civil war started with early nationalist victories everywhere except the basque country and andalucia. The fight stiffened in late 1936 and Hitler decided to offer Franco his help. Franco refused and negotiations began. In early 1937 (february) Franco finally took the german-italian offer and joined the brotherhood of steel. As we speak german tanks (2 divisions) are rushing down towards Jaen with 6 german infantry divisions covering its rear. There is also a rumour of italian troops in Barcelona but since the german troops have yet to see any of them this will go as an uncomfirmed rumour.
* Hungary and Germany have had several talks about the future of the two people but so far the hungarian demands have been to greedy for the fuhrer to consider them. More will follow.
* On the techside germany is developing a well-working economy with great industrial innovations (advanced machine tools and advanced construction). This has lead to breakthroughs in tank and aircraft-design. The naval-minister is however complaining for the lack of resources put into improving the navy. The fuhrer has now promised a new submodel after getting some blueprints from the japanese naval-industry.
-------------------------
* I think we should consider lowering my belligerence a bit since the war with japan was only to try to get away with the alliance with japan. It got all messed up becaused of Manchuko and this was the only way to solve it (with japan annexing the country). I am not saying lower it to zero since we might have gotten some fringe-benifits from it but 28 belligerence is far too much in 36. Maybe lower it with 15? What do you all think? I think the game would be fast lost for the axis if the US enters the war in 39 or something.
* Lets also discuss when we are letting the US and SU to be playable. I suppose that the french and the polish player will want to play one of those once their empires have faded (i hope they will anyway, otherwise it will be me begging to play another power). I think from 39 on they should be playable with the french taking over the SU and the polish taking over the US. How do you guys feel about it?
