Hi all,

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but with new players beginning to play EU, I like the idea of a reference guide for the game's nations and history. This would be located in-game and would be similar to the Civpedia found in Civilization games. Obviously it wouldn't include every nation, but some page on, for example, Poland or Novgorod would both help RP and maybe even get someone interested in a new field of history. This feature is hardly a required one but it would add some immersion and I think that it would be in the spirit of Grand Strategy in general. What do you think?

Yes. Definitely check out the eu4wiki.com site. In particular, for new players (and even grognards that want a refresher), I wrote up a few articles:

The latter is good for those who want a background in some of the history of the scenario starting dates. It includes many links to Wikipedia.

It doesn't have to be a lot of work- only some info on the Tier 1 nations would be fine. But I understand the gain would be small, just for fun really
