If I have a province, in this case Danzig but I don't want it anymore. Is there a way to simply give them independence?

What would happen if you own a huge blob or a defensive tech country with 600k+ manpower (basically no one can stop you), and you go on a conquering spree disregarding overextension? Will the revolt risk eventually cap out at some value?
Perhaps this is a bit speculative... but do you get any "genetic" benefit from marrying countries that have awesome rulers? Kinda like how in CK2 produced better offspring depending on the traits of the parents?
The diplomacy screen should have a new subcategory called "Papal actions" (or something to that effect). You need to expand that to see the excommunication and crusade options.Question: Where is the option to excommunicate when you are the Papal controller? I was the controller for certain periods and I couldn't find the option. I looked in the Holy See screen, the Religion screen and the Diplomatic screens and I didn't find anything. There were icons in the Holy See screen that stated I could call a crusade or excommunicate a catholic nation, but that's all the tooltips said. So, how does it work?
It is in the combat section: "when one of our units arrives at its destination"I looked there and just looked again - and definitely don't see any option that halts the game when a unit has finished moving. :-(

If you have modified any message settings you will have a messagetypes_custom.txt file and this setting is UNITARRIVED.
Is there any reliable way to kill off this 0/0/0 heir in the Castille 1444 start? I dont want him to rule for 25+ years again![]()
