Hi,

If I attack a country in the HRE, when I am in the HRE, will the emperor join? I am playing as the Teutonic Order and I joined the HRE, and whenever I try to declare war on Pomerania it says the emperor will still interfere. Is this true or is it a bug or is there another way of expanding in the HRE?

Get an alliance with Austria (or whoever is the emperor). Expanding in the HRE is a royal PITA if the emperor isn't on your side. If you can't get an alliance with the emperor you'll have to find other allies who can help you beat their combined forces in a war, and even then you'll probably receive a stream of demands to return unlawful territory after the war.

What is the button to take a pic of the world map? I have always used F12, but now it saved a normal screenshot to my Steam library.

If you're in the HRE, the emperor will only interfere (and the ui will display that) if you declare war without a CB. Or if they're allied to the target ofcourse, but that goes without saying.

Any trustworthy way to loose Defender of the Faith? I just learned I can't change religion as DotF.

Is loosing a war ok? Do I need to be at war with heretic/heaten? Is any CB ok, or does it have to be a crusade?

Hi, I'm playing with the Ottomans and I'm having some problema with rebels.
Due to my expansion I have a lot of non-accepted cultures and religions, and until now they were all manageable but now it takes a lot to fight some type of rebels, patriots and shias.
I'm at 1600 and my tech level is 15, currently there are some European with mil tech at 16 and 1 at 17 (palatinate lol).
Besides taking Humanist ideas is there anything more I should do?

Convert province religions and cultures, look for policies and advisors that reduce revolt risk, in extreme cases you may need to release vassals for later re-integration once you have things under control. To make fighting rebels easier take military ideas. In general they get your tech level plus a morale bonus so if you have no ideas their troops will often be better than yours.

Is there a pop-up I can setup to give me a notice when enemy engages my fleet? Or is there a mod that does this?
I fed up with getting my whole fleet wiped because I wasn't paying attention to it. I've looked in the messages menu and I'm either blind or there isn't one.

EDIT: Thank you Wenla I don't know how I missed that

There is.

For ex. "To Me" + "Combat" - options, near bottom is "When one of our navies is attacked by the enemy"

But, of course, if you really are blind...

Is there a way to change a country's opinion of me from defensive to friendly? I'm France, allied to Bohemia and with nearly maxxed out relation (+185), they remain defensive (they won't answer a call against their enemy Austria, their opinion of the Austrians is at -4 and I even get a -40 "their relations to the enemy" penalty on the call -_-

First off, that's about their attitude, not their opinion. Attitudes are partially derived from opinion, but it's not the same thing. Defensive is not an attitude, so I'm not sure what their attitude towards you is. Either way, having high relations like that and fighting lots of wars together is pretty much all you can do in the hopes of changing their attitude towards you to friendly.

Regardless, you're not getting a penalty because of their attitude towards you, you're getting a penalty because of their attitude towards Austria. Apparently Bohemia doesn't really have that bad an attitude towards Austria in that game. I wouldn't be surprised if they're simply neutral towards them with an opinion like that. You said they're enemies, but in in-game terms that just means Austria rivaled them, doesn't stop Bohemia from being indifferent towards Austria. You can find out what exactly their attitude is by going to the opinion mapmode, selecting an Austrian province and hovering over Bohemia.

Unfortunately, it is quite hard to change this attitude without giving one of them provinces that used to belong to the other. You could possibly work around it though. If Austria is the emperor, you could find any HRE nation that Bohemia will join against and attack that.
