How is the chance to inherit Burgundy as Austria? And side question, is the AI making fun of humans? Like your long time ally de-allies you then coalition war and as soon as its over long time ex-ally asks for a new alliance.
I don't seem to be able to locate the new National Focus mechanic... where is it?

I am Italy, so I have a claim on Venezia. I attacked Venice using the conquer Venezia wargoal, but I am unable to request this province in a peace deal. I know it's their capital, but am I not supposed to be able to get it this way?

You can only get capitals if they're isolated from all other provinces.

Can i see the colonial range of other nations? I wanted to go for a full portugese carribean (achievement), when suddenly castille popped up on barbados. And they had not colonised anything else, because of war with morocco and aragon, so i thought i was pretty safe with them only having the canaries, and not yet having diplomatic tech 7 (+115 range)
Yes. Is for me so far at any rate. Foreign monarchs get high (100) legitimacy if elected (which I never let happen).
Just take Humanism as your first idea tree and gg, no problem.

You can't control foreign influence, so you can't really cherrypick who sits on your throne. You can only boost support for your local noble (or not do it).

One of the patch notes of 1.7 was that nations will not set their allies as rivals if 'keep alliance AI preference' is on? but where do I find that option in order to enable it?
Has a truce always been broken if you declare war on a nation who is being guaranteed by the nation you have a truce with?

How/when can I change my national focus (after having set one) again? If there's a tooltip, I haven't found it yet.
If you are referring to MP distribution, I swear I just popped in to ask that same question. (I just discovered the feature this week after playing the game for months). Can't find anything that mentions when you can change it. It's a nice feature if you can.
