Is there a console command or event I can activate with the console to make my government a noble republic? I just started a game as Tuscany and I want the Italy idea, but I don't want to give up my government type.
What states can form the German nation? Can Bohemia do it?

The greater issue is that when you're in various map modes, there isn't an area of the interface explaining what each color and line represents. Some are easy enough to guess, but others are more ambiguous. And when I click Empire map mode, what do the yellow lines mean over some territories?
How come member states are continuously fighting wars but I as Emperor am not getting any calls to arms?

I can't start in Ironmode. Says I have to be logged in to Steam(which I am) and have enabled Steamcloud(which I also have(I think)). Is there something more I need to do? Everywhere I check it says Steamcloud is enabled.
Situation: I'm playing as Sweden in 1444? start ironman mode and it is around 1500ish now. Techs are pathetic (something like 455) as I've been mired in wars left and right for lands of Muscovy, Norway and Denmark making slow headways. Allied to Scotland+rmarriage, Livonian order and now the questions:
1. I get alliance with France+rmariage and he is in war with some minor nation winning heavily (around 60 I last checked). As per my earlier 2 games experience is that when I join nation in alliance when they are at war they seem to think I don't want to be allied with them as I don't support them in that war they were in b4 I allied and the alliance ends up with them thinking I dishonored the alliance even if they don't ask me to join the damn war in the first place. And to make matters worse I seem not to be able to join the war even on purpose as tgt of war nor alliance partner don't have join wars option. The make white peace doesn't seem to give me change to force myself to war so I'm really at loss on what to do. So how do I join allys war that was started b4 alliance came to be to uphold alliance?
2. What message setting I have to put as popup and pause to get alliance call to wars not be just damn unnoticeable icons on top of screen that I miss half the time being too focused on what is going on on the map otherwise?!?
3. What is good ratio of inf, cav, arty on the game? I was thinking on the lines of 6 inf 2 cav 1 arty as good ratio.
When you release vassals, is there any way to decide which provinces they actually get, not to mention don't get?
It seems like they'll get every province they have a core on, and since cores are so easy to come by it makes releasing vassals all messy, and that makes me sad. I'm hoping I'm just missing something though.
If not I hope this is something that gets mended in patches, I like freeing nations from big blobs, or just having vassals of my own on the outskirts of my empire but there needs to be some way to manage the provinces they get or it's kinda meh.
I had converted the province to remove the penalty to core it, but it is still showing up on the tooltip.
That's not a penalty... 200 x (1 - 0.25 - 0.50) = 50
I believe that animist bonus is tied to the core, rather than the religion? Like the berber penalty, but the opposite?
Ah, thanks. I'll go make a thread over in bug reports, then.Though this does point out a tooltip error. It should be in green, like the 25% and every other "good" modifier in the game.
