What is the order of the richest regions in EU4?

Is it:

Low Countries
Northern Italy
Germany
Northern France
etc
etc

What's the order lol.

It varies based on trade. In most of my games, around 1570 the Lübeck node is worth 60+ ducats, with Seville having about 40, Venice 30, Constantinople 35, and Amsterdam around 30. The other nodes are only worth between 5-10 at best. The Beijing node is also worth a lot of trade.

By average, it looks like we can ignore all the top ones as they are only single provinces that for some reason have their own region.

Is it normal that in 1627 the Western Europe trade node has 0 value? The only trade flowing across the northern hemisphere in my game is a modest 3-and-change going to North Sea and this is with multiple colonial nations established in the new world. Did 1.6 change it so you need merchants and trade fleets to get trade from the Americas?

Of course not, there are no regency councils for a republic.

This isn't the reason, at least in 1.6.1 the European nations have power. The reason is no merchants directing trade to Europe while natives and CNs are directing trade to the Americas. Take a look at nodes like Mauritania and the Caribbean and you see the only merchants steering are Americans, no Europeans, so it all goes into the Americas and ends up in St. Lawrence where the propagated power from the North Sea pulls a trickle that way. Since there's no value in WETN no one sends merchants/ships there so no power propagates in that direction-a vicious cycle.

Once someone starts the ball rolling by pulling some trade into the node it tends to snowball pretty well, it's just getting it started that is problematic. It sometimes takes until ai nations have 4 or 5 merchants before they will place one such that it starts the ball rolling; for instance I've seen Portugal put their third in Tunis despite having almost no power instead of Mauritania where their Caribbean CN is steering all the African trade into the Caribbean. Moving the departure point into the Caribbean back down to Ivory Coast might well be enough to permanently solve the problem.

when playing as manchu i want to change to qing dynasty in decisions.
i got all the necessary provinces but the only thing missing is "(x) is not a tribe".
does this mean i gotta reform government first or is there another way to become "not a tribe"?
(PS: in eu4 wiki in decisions for qing dynasty it doesnt say that not being a tribe is necessary for mancho so i guess it was implemented recently!?)

yep, you need to reform government to form Qing. This change was introduce with current patch. One thing btw if you convert to Islam right before hitting this button you will get muslim tech and units instead of chinese tech and units.

i got all the necessary provinces but the only thing missing is "(x) is not a tribe".
does this mean i gotta reform government first or is there another way to become "not a tribe"?
(PS: in eu4 wiki in decisions for qing dynasty it doesnt say that not being a tribe is necessary for mancho so i guess it was implemented recently!?)
Yes. 1.6 changed the Qing, Persia, and Mughals decisions so that you now have to have a non-tribal government.
