When you say Imperial repiblic, do you mean that you're a member of the HRE ? Because if that's the case, when you form Germany, you leave the HRE (and therefore lose its protection), and every other HRE member gets -150 opinion of you, so that could mean a lot more potential coalition members.I'm Swiss Imperial republic. Nobody wants to join a coalition against me. When I form Germany - I get the coalition.
Why?
No, I meant Republican government of Empire rank. HRE is gone. When you say Imperial repiblic, do you mean that you're a member of the HRE ?
Then I don't know. The one thing that comes to mind is that when you form a new tag, it takes a little time for everything to recalculate : your great power status, everyone's attitude toward you... I'm thinking this forced recalculation may be what drives everyone to get over the line of wanting to join a coalition. No, I meant Republican government of Empire rank. HRE is gone.
Did you define the power projection modifier in the powerprojection file? The one that defines how much you gain from being a great power and such?anybody got permanent power projection gained from missions? i modded some mission as ottos and despite finishing the mission i dont have any permanent power projection. i,s that bugged?
There are nobility privileges which actually decrease the number available to confer military bonuses to Carolean units, make sure you haven't granted those. Is there an easy way to increase the amount of Carolinean regiments as Sweden? From what I can see it's based of the development of my Swedish and Finnish provinces. I need 80 regiments for the Super Trooper achievement. Currently I am at about 50.
I have been developing my swedish provinces and culture converting non accepted lands. Is there another way (e.g. Estate privilege or something) that I am missing?
Thanks! There are nobility privileges which actually decrease the number available to confer military bonuses to Carolean units, make sure you haven't granted those.
I doubt you've gone all the way to India in this game, but there's a monument there which gives +10% special units force limit on tier 3, and you can pass a decision if you're revolutionary called mass train revolutionary guards for another +10%, but probably none those is easily accessible to you, it depends where you are in the game.
Deving and culture converting will get you there sooner I think. You need 800 dev with Swedish or Finnish culture for 80 regiments, you can spread your culture easily into Russia. Start culture converting a low dev province (so it costs little and finishes quickly), and once you started the conversion, you can start deving them up cheaply. That way you'll get the remaining 300 development fairly quickly, certainly quicker than conquering your way to India and dumping 20k ducats or boatloads of manpower into a monument for 5-6 extra FL.Thanks!
Yeah I saw those. Got excited till I realised they aren't helpful I'm my case. I will see if I can make my way to India and just dev / culture convert like crazy till then.
It might depend on how they are created. If you release them as a vassal, they get your tech and they get the historical idea groups from their country file. But I'm not sure what happens if they get released in a different way(e.g. in a war or through rebels or with the return province button or through event).do nations that have been destroyed recover their old tech and Ideas if they are recreated?
I got the same a few weeks ago during my Aksum campaign. Looked like a bug in the code with the event like the wrong value has been used, but hardly game breaking so I just moved on.View attachment 1018977
Does anyone know how this happened? It should be 5 years according to the wiki.
The event gives the CB for 1825 months and this has been the case since the event was added in 1.32. The person who added the events to the wiki probably made the same mistake as the developer who created the event and mixed up months and days(1825 days would be 5 years). This was fixed in one of the events in the event chain, but not in the one which you got. I took this opportunity to update the ethiopian events page on the wiki so that it shows the 152 years.View attachment 1018977

It changes the primary culture of the subject to the overlord's primary cultureWhat does the Enforce Culture actually do on colonial subjects? Does it actually change culture for all non-accepted cultures? Does it force convert all cultures to your primary culture? Does it factor any of your IGs or NIs to get a discount on culture conversion.
I've tried it a couple of times in a current campaign but I'm not seeing much happen.
