It is frustrating to play in India when the game does not differentiates between Hindu and Muslim names. I want to create a suggestion segregating these names for correct depiction in the game only I don't know where can I find those names. If I could get some help in this regard.

Does anyone know how the game calculates "relative strength of alliances" for threaten war? I would like to demand one province from an HRE prince without sparking a giant war with Austria and I am allegedly only 5 away from acceptance, but things that would seem to increase alliance strength (e.g. building mercs, adding new members to my alliance) do not seem to move the needle.

After starting a a war in colony, army of my CN is sitting in its own territory when there are no obstacles to besiege the enemy capital, which is actually the war goal. Is this feature broken or am I missing something?

My home trade node is Seville. I want to Privateer the English Channel, in which I have no trade power at all. It's not appearing as an option. Why?

(It's 1670 and I have up to date tech)
Do you own any of the provinces on the northern coast of Iberia? At the start of the game, Portugal and Castile can privateer in the channel, but Granada can't. And tech doesn't seem to make a difference.
I think that the game doesn't allow you to privateer if none of the sea tiles in which your ships could privateer the channel are in your supply range. Supply range doesn't increase with tech, but you can get fleet basing from a country nearby to be able to privateer there.

Why does my economy suck so much?
Probably a combination of many things. A few things that you can improve are:
  • Getting the merchant estate above 60% influence and above 40 loyalty, gives 20% trade efficiency. And being ahead in time in dip tech gives another 20%.
  • Getting the clergy estate above 60% influence and above 40 loyalty gives 20% tax efficiency.
  • develop your goldmine and remove any estate that might be assigned to that province
  • mothball your heavy and transport ships
  • try if using your merchant from Safi to collect trade in Sevilla gives you more money
  • give all trade centers and provinces with trade modifiers to the burghers
  • get more light ships to protect trade in Sevilla
  • delete or mothball some forts
  • siphon income from your junior partners if they are loyal enough
  • who owns Tangiers? If it is not you or one of your junior partners, try to get it
  • pay back your loans
  • reduce your army(especially if you still have more than 4 cavalry)

How do i get my subjects (Vassals/PUs) to fabricate claims?
Mark the provinces you're interested in as Vital Interest. Make sure that your Attitude to the owners is either Hostile or Rival. Cross your fingers. Wait.

Mark the provinces you're interested in as Vital Interest. Make sure that your Attitude to the owners is either Hostile or Rival. Cross your fingers. Wait.
Your attitude shouldn't matter. What matter is what the AI personality of your vassal is. If they are diplomat you can pray as hard as you can, but he'll won't claim anything. Best case is a militarist. He'll always claim stuff.
What also does help is marking the provinces as vital interest.

This is a ZOC question. I’m Venice. At war with Ottomans. My March, Serbia is in the war with me. Serbia’s owns Macedonia and Sofia. Macedonia has a fully garrisoned level 6 fort. Ottomans own Erdine, Thessaly, and Kastoria. Ottoman army marches from Erdine to Macedonia and sieges the fort. Ok. No surprise. Two days later, ottoman army departs Macedonia by marching into Thessaly. After wrecking havoc on my Army sieging Athens, the Ottomans walk back to Macedonia and pass through back to Erdine. This repeats several times during the war. Can someone explain to me the exception to the ZOC rule that allowed them to do that?

Can you post a screenshot where these forts and all the surrounding provinces are visible? That makes it easier to see what is going on.
