Can I change Screenshots taken in the game from being PNGs into JPEGs somewhere?
Load them in your favourite graphics editor and save them as JPEG.

Alternatively, on Linux or Mac you could use the ImageMagick convert utility to transcode them from PNG to JPEG.

I think I meant something else.
I dont want to have PNGs and convert them into JPEGs afterwards.
I would like the game to save them as JPEGs in the first place.
Because my Screenshot-Folder is like 100GB with PNGs.

use f12 for steam screenshots, that saves them as jpeg.

the steam screenshots go in steam directory, under steam/userdate/xxxxxx/screenshots with xxxxx being the number for europa universalis in steam.

When should i form France in England -> GB -> France -> Prussia run? Before, or after English Civil War?

Anytime before 1610 - that's when L'Etat c'est Moi becomes available (decision requires a 5 ADM ruler, as well). Although, hmm, does forming FRA get rid of English Monarchy? You're going to want to be rid of that.

I like that idea for a run since starting as England gives you the early PU on France. But it does mean you're stuck with England's trash ideas for a long time.

Doing some console testing and so far forming FRA has not removed English Monarchy. So I'd recommend either starting as a different tag than ENG or getting rid of English Monarchy before forming FRA.

So.. I should have formed it after English Civil war, as it would replace english monarchy with despotic monarchy... I cant even give power to nobles, because this government doesn't have nobles estate.

Is there anything that would change my government form other than forming Prussia or becoming revolutionary republic?

France became a Revolutionary Republic and right after that, I got a prestige penalty. After a Threaten War action, I got a truce with them, and the penalty seems to be gone. Any hints about the Revolution - Counter Revolution mechanics? Better said: what I need to keep in mind about it? I didn't find all I was searching for on Wiki, that's why I am asking it here.

And about Threaten War option... Wiki says the following: "If the demand is not accepted a war with the Conquest casus belli for said province". This means that, if the target refuses, a war starts automatically, as if a Conquest Casus Belli would be used against the target, or? Didn't get any refuse so far, so...

Basically, any monarchy not at war with the revolutionary country will suffer penalties for allowing the revolution to go unchallenged and to thereby increase the risk of it spreading.

When playing England and before tech with advanced CB arrived, I cannot fabricate claims on Egypt since it is neither TC nor colonial regions so I cannot use abilities to fabricate claims in these regions from both expansion and exploration idea groups. What are my options here?

If Cyprus is still around then they will probably be in a trade league and if that is Lubeck's trade league then you might be able to get a CB against someone in that league which you could use to take Cyprus. Same applies to the Knights.

Otherwise, there's always the no CB option to get a base down there. The Christians won't care that much and if your no CB war is just over Cyprus then there won't be too much AE with anyone.
