Possible, yes. Likely, no. If you have high trust and they have a ruler who is not a militarist then you would probably be okay but as soon as they get a militarist ruler they are likely to see those provinces as being of vital interest and that will ruin the relationship.

And the whole South-side of England? (probably same?)

You are right. You don't need to control all provinces to create a state BUT all of your owned provinces in the new state have to be cores! Kildare is not cored yet.

Does going bankrupt as an OPM not force you Animist any more?

Also, if anyone knows how to play as a client state's tag I would love to know! Best PM me if you do!...

Going bankrupt as an OPM will set your religion and culture to that of your single province. If that province is animist then you will be animist. If not, then not.

I want to dismantle the empire. If I occupy the Emperor's capital and all the elector's capitals can I dismanlte the empire?

I'm in a situation where as germany I've taken most of the empire including Austria. The emperor is Trier as a OPM, and there are 5 electors all one province minors. The only catch is that Trier is allied with the Ottoman's and they are big. I can beat him but it will be a long war so i want to make sure I know how to dismantle the empire. War score is 50%?

You don't need to worry about electors that you are allied to (not sure if that applies to the emperor himself though). It doesn't matter what the warscore is per se. Just matters that you have sieged down the relevant capitals. The challenge is to get into wars with all the necessary people at the same time.

Yes, I see. So if I can ally the ones that will not join anyway I can win by siegnig the ones ones that do join. Hmmm ... that is tricky in my case. They all hate me because of AE. I'll have to work on this.

You asked this yesterday and were given an answer.

You can make a territory into a state as long as all of the provinces that you own in that territory are already territorial cores. In your case, you have cores on two of the provinces but you own a third which has not been cored yet and so, until that happens, you cannot upgrade the territory into a state.

I'm in the process of integrating Russia as a PU. I want to declare war on their eastern neighbors. Will this slow down the integration? The war itself should have no effect correct, but if I then feed him provinces this will increase the time to integrate, no?

If you feed your PU junior provinces then yes, it will increase the total amount of DIP required accordingly, and if your junior doesn't finish coring them before the integration completes, you won't get cores either.

Also, integrations are temporarily suspended if the junior's provinces are occupied by hostiles.

if they are in coalition, declare on ally of one nation in coalition, and mak coalition ally full co-belligerent. This will drag all coalition members in, and you can do seperate peaces.

if electors are not in coalition, look if ANY elector is allied to a nation outside HRE. declare like that on all possible. then figure out a wartarget within HRE with the right allies, that might drag all remaining electors in, when you make said 'right' allies co-belligerent.

there is always a way to get all electors and emperor. It might need two-three wars at once though, if you are unlucky.

coalitioning entire HRE and then doing option one is generally easiest if you are big lategame blob. because option 2 requires studying alliance patterns like mad :)

Does a vassalized Pope behave differently then an independent one?

Im doing Austria super HRE at this point and stopping the shadow kingdom from forming (I think its necessary because the italians are staunch catholics and lots of OPM republics to turn into free cities once germany becomes a mess).

And it occured to me that vassals become complacent so I was wondering if it effected the Pope IE not implmenting the policy events which speed up the reformation.

You were absolutely right. The trick is getting everyone I need in the war. The HRE was tiny militarily, but they had big allies.

This is how I did it:
1) Forced Utrecht to break their alliance with France.
2) Declared on Trier which was the Emperor. Trier had Utrecht as an ally. I brought Utrecht in as a cobelligerent.
3) Utrecht had Baden as an ally so this brought them in, it also brought the Papal States in but that was not a problem.
4) Castile was the defender of the Catholic faith so they came in and their vassal was Lorraine.

I immediately focused on sieging Baden, Lorraine, Trier and Utrecht.

Thanks for your answer!

Can Brandenburg form Prussia if they are my PU minor?. I'm playing as France and they already have my dinasty.

they are (the only?) exception. Subjects can't form other nations usually, as the requirement is usually 'independent'. Prussia subject can form from anything, as long as they have right religion and all other needed stuff.

Dunno if there is other exception.
