Question to Co-Belligerent:

co-bellingerent.jpg

I allied Jaunpur, so their 49k help me.

Also, Jaunpur is allied to Bahmanis.

If I now declare Bahmanis as a Co-Belligerent, will they be able to call in their ally Jaunpur, or is Jaunpur already in the war on my side, befor Bahmanis can ask them?
Really important..

if your first war where jaunpur ends, and IF you don't have 25% warscore on the war in bahmanis, jaunpur will protect them against you. they will hop.

the idea is to get 25% on bahmanis asap. Holy war battle warscore can help. so, declare on bahmanis asap after starting first war, get 25% on bahmanis, and yer safe.

but beware! if they recapture wargoal or so within thirty months after start of war, and you go below 25% warscore again, bahmanis MIGHT call jaunpur in still.

never quite console tested if the thirty month rule even applies in this situation.

tl; dr: get 25% warscore on the ally of your ally ASAP, and you are safe.

I am not quite sure, if I understood you right.
You are talking about a first war? This whole question is about one single war. I want to declare on Gujarat (or so). And the screenshot is the declare-war-window.
Bahmanis is on the one side, Jaunpur is on the other side (of the window).

Do I still have to get 25% before I know that Jaunpur will not fight AGAINST me?

I also could make Bahmanis NOT a Co-Belligerent, then I am absolutely sure, but I thought I could safe some AE and diplo-points.

No worries, Jaunpur will join you. Defensive CTA's take precedence when you declare on them directly, but since they are just an ally of the defender Jaunpur will answer your call before Bahmanis get the chance to call them.

When I take the decision of "Enforce the Commonwealth" (note that this is the csse where no PU Exists) I just get claims in the Polish region but not in White Russia and Prypiat too (as the wiki says). Is this WAD? What is the point of reforming then? just to get +25 prestige?

I read that all members of a Trade League will join a members defensive war.

What if the member is only an ally of a defensive war?

I attack France. France has the ally Brittany, who is member of the Trade League of Venice.
So when I attack France now, could it be, that Venice and the whole League join?

Is it possible to culture shift if you move your capital to a province of the desired culture?

50% of the development of your country’s state cores has to be of the desired culture to be able to change your primary culture. The button for it is located in the "Government" tab.

As long as Venice isn't a co-belligerent it isn't considered "their" defensive war. No, they will not be called in.

Unless they changed a policy that's been in place as long as culture conversion has been in the game without mentioning it... You need a plurality of the development to be the desired culture, not a majority.

That was the old system with the "Accept Cultural Shift" decision. It was changed in 1.18.

Are you supposed to gain war exhaustion while at peace? I've noticed that my armies taking attrition while coming home from Novgorod have caused it to actually go up despite the 0.10 per month while at peace

Yes, you can gain war exhaustion while at peace due to attrition. You took a lot of attrition to gain more than the 0.10... I don't know how it is calculated though.

How do I kill my heir?
I have a ruler with 4/5/6. All of the sudden he had an heir with 0/1/2 !!

I have some rebels in my country. I already tried to hire a 1k mercenary stack, assign my heir to them and send them to death. But the heir survives that. No idea how..

What to do against that heir?

There is a check each month to kill a ruler or heir if they are a general and another if they are leading troops but as far as I know they won't die because of combat unlike ck2.
