With the Elective Monarchy, Poland's dynasty changes more frequently than the participants of the War of the League of Cambrai, so it won't do you much good. Getting your heir on Poland's throne is very beneficial, but the Elective Monarchy does not allow its throne to be claimed.
I think I'm playing without the DLC (I don't know which one) which gives this feature :)

I am the Emperor as Austria and the religious leagues have formed.
Brandenburg leads the protestant side.

If Brandenburg should start the war, will all protestant league members join, even if they have a truce with me?
I was thinking of collecting truces with protestant league members...

Ahhh, that'll be Res Publica. Almost essential if you want to play as a Republic, particularly the Dutch Republic. Also gives National Focus which everyone should have, and is also provided by Common Sense.

Truce with Emperor will not prevent joining the League, and all League members are called when the war begins.

Planning on doing a Dracula's Revenge run as Moldavia. Looking at Moldavian and Romanian ideas, Moldavian ideas clearly seem superior. Am I better off sticking with them when I form Romania, or am I just missing something with Romanian ideas?

I can imagine a reasonable person deciding Moldavian ideas are superior, but I certainly wouldn't say they were clearly superior. For Christians, +2 TTF is often superior to +2% Missionary Strength, especially if you're Orthodox and thus don't have to convert Orthodox provinces.

The earliest is 11, Nov, 1444. There are a few other recommended start dates too, but you can pick anything inbetween 1444 and 1821. I think the recommended start dates have historically accurate rulers, wars, events etc... but I always start from 1444 anyway so I can't be 100% sure.

Suck. But i'll give it a go, I like early 1500s to mid 1700s the best. Every other game I've played I prefer the grand campaign, but not the EU's for some reason.

Keep in mind that the only date Paradox supports is the 11/11/1444 start, and you have to start at this date to get achievements except for one.
I don't think it's fair to say the later start dates are unsupported, they just are not supported to the extent that 1444 is.

Also there are three achievements with no start date restriction.

How do I stop "Internal conflicts"? I don't have any unrest in my country, but i can't get full religious unity before the catastrophe hits. Do I need both 100 religious unity and no unrest?

Isn't "Internal Conflict" just linked other disasters? Do you have Religious Turmoil active or something? You only need 75% Religious Unity to get rid of Religious Turmoil.

According to my ingame tooltip, you just need to get rid of current disasters, National Unrest < 1 and Positive stability to get rid of Internal Conflict.

I had "Religous Turmoil" ticking for a while, but I avoided it. My tooltip doesn't mention positive stability as a requirement though. I was at zero. Now I'm at +1 in stability, but there's a bit of unrest in the country. We'll see what happens I guess. Thanks anyway!

Does the Skanderbeg opening strategy (as demonstrated in the following video) still work for Byzantium start in 1.19? I noticed that Albania got weakened further due to the new Venetian province and only has 4k troops now...
